Johnsonville Italian Sausage Review and Recipe

I made the recipe below for my family tonight and they loved it.  My kids usually only eat plain pasta, but they eat pizza sauce, Johnsonville Italian sausage, pasta and cheese, so I thought I would give this recipe a try.  My kids loved it and it made me so happy that we had an awesome dinner tonight.  I love when we try new things and they enjoy them.  They love Johnsonville Italian Sausages, but we usually eat them grilled.   I wanted to try a fun new recipe that would be something a bit different.  I was very thankful to be given this opportunity to try and review the Johnsonville Italian Sausages since I am a member of shespeaks.com.

Italian Sausage Baked Ziti

1 package Johnsonville Italian Sausages (any kind you like)
1 small can tomato sauce
2 14.5 oz cans diced tomatoes (drained)
1 tsp fresh or dried basil
1 tsp fresh or dried oregano
2 cloves garlic (crushed)
1/2 cup onion (diced finely)
2 cups shredded provelone (or any kind of cheese you like)
1 12 oz package ziti

Comnine sausage (casing removed) onion, garlic in a large skillet and cook until browned.  Add the tomato sauce and drained diced tomatoes.  Add the basil and oregano.  Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low.  Cook 15 minutes until slightly thickened.  Remove from heat.

Cook 12 oz package of ziti according to cooking directions and drain well.  I used rainbow veggie pasta, but you can use what you like.

Add the ziti and sausage and tomato mixture and mix well.  Pour into a buttered 3 qt dish.  Top with the shredded cheese.  Place this into a preheated 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until the top is bubbly.

Children's Claritin Review

My Children's Claritin bzzkit!

We just got our Children's Claritin bzzkit in the mail today from bzzagent.com.  I was very excited to receive this complimentary sample because I spend a fortune on allergy medicine for my family.  We tried the chewables this evening because my kids don't like the taste of any liquid medicine.  My kids were actually ready and excited to try the Children's Claritin Chewables.  They took the chewable very easily without any fuss like liquid medication.  We have used the Claritin brand before and have had great results with it controlling allergies, but it doesn't make my kids super hyper and it doesn't make them groggy.  I actully decided to try the liquid myself because my kids don't care too much for any liquid medication.  I also suffer horribly from allergies.  I noticed that shortly after I took the dose for an adult that the itchy and allergy throat I had all day felt much better.  I have taken Claritin before and have noticed that shortly after I take it that it helps alleviate the symptoms.  I plan on using this for the next week on my kids and will update on how well it works

Children's Claritin Chewables

I was so excited to find out that I am going to be given the opportunity to try the Children's Claritin Chewables because I am a bzzagent on bzzagent.com.  I love trying stuff for free, but honestly this is something that I can use for my kids.  I have a 4 and a 6 year old and both of them suffer horribly for allergies.  We have used the Children's Claritin Liquid, but my kids aren't too fond of the flavor of any liquid medication, so it is always challenging.  I am hoping that getting them to take the Chewables is a much easier to get them to take than liquid medication.  I can't give them certain allergy medications because we either have a problem with the medication making them too hyper or it makes them fall asleep.  Neither of those are good when they both have school that they have to go to.  I think that the Claritin always does a great job on controlling allergies, but without causing drowsiness or hyperactivity.  I will update on how we like the chewables as soon as I get my bzzkit and we get a chance to try them out.  In the meantime you can visit Claritins Facebook page to get more info today.

Hormel Compleats Kids Microwave Meals Review

I was recently given the opportunity from SheSpeaks.com to try these for my kids.  I was lucky enough to get to try these out for free.  I was very excited to try them out for a number of reasons.  They are quick for a mom that is constantly on the go.  I was glad to find out that the sodium in them is pretty low for an already prepared meal that is shelf stable and doesn't need to be refrigerated or frozen.  I also like the fact that they are nutritious and that they also cook in only 45 seconds.

My daughter really liked the Beef Ravioli and the Macaroni and Beef.  She tried the Chicken and Pasta variety and ate it, but the others were her favorite.  I tasted a little bit of these too and they were good.  The sauce on both was good and not too sweet like some kinds of prepackaged or prepared tomato sauces.  I would definately recomend these to busy mom's that still want to give their kids a healthy and quick meal.

Frugal Mommie of 2: Covergirl New NatureLuxe Collection

Frugal Mommie of 2: Covergirl New NatureLuxe Collection: "I was recently given the opportunity to try the new Foundation and Gloss Balm from the Covergirl NatureLuxe collection because I am a bzzage..."

Covergirl New NatureLuxe Collection

I was recently given the opportunity to try the new Foundation and Gloss Balm from the Covergirl NatureLuxe collection because I am a bzzagent on bzzagent.com.

I will admit that I am extremely picky when it comes to foundation.  I hate wearing foundation that feels heavy at all.  I tried on the NatureLuxe foundation today and was impressed.  It feels very light and still has excellent coverage.  I wasn't sure if I was going to like the color that I picked, but I was impressed that it didn't give me a line on my jawline.  It blended in great!  I also like that it has a SPF 10 to protect my skin from the sun, but I also like that it is oil free.  I personally have to use foundations that are oil free otherwise I break out.  This new foundation is available at drug stores and big box stores.  I am not suprised that 8 out of 10 professional Makeup Artists say that this foundation provides a light, luxurious feel.  I also love that the foundation contains natural ingredients.  It has jojaba extract and cucumber water in it.

I then tried on the NatureLuxe Gloss Balm.  I was really afraid that the color would go on super dark since I was trying out the "spice" shade.  It went on with a hint of color and I like that.  I also like that it was moisturizing and didn't feel like thick lipstick.  I enjoy that it is more of a cross between lipgloss and chapstick, but it didn't have that sticky feel like lipgloss sometimes does.  The Gloss Balm also contains an SPF to help protect your lips.

It's Almost Swimsuit Season - Check out Stylefind.com

I decided to check out stylefind.com today and really liked the swimsuits that they had featured when I checked out their site.  They have a lot of cute styles and even a lot of great prices.  I like that they show that they also have some under $30 (which is a good deal) for a good swimsuit in my opinion.  I will definately be looking into these in another few weeks once it is swimsuit weather and swimming season.

I am very glad I was introduced to this website and able to review it because I am a bzzagent on bzzagent.com

Don't forget to check out this neat new site.  I love this idea and the thought of turning my kids outgrown items into cash or putting it towards some gently used clothes.  You can search for items by the childs size and sex and it makes it easy to find something you can really use and want.  They have other items too besides clothes too.

If you are interested in finding out how to sell your childs gently used items (clothes, toys, and other items) check on the link below on how to turn your kids items into cash.  I was introduced to this website because I'm a bzzagent on bzzagent.com.  I know as a busy mom of 2 I deffinately could use something like this.  My kids are constantly growing out of clothes and toys and need new ones.  This is great because I can actually get some money back on the clothes and other items they can no longer use.  There are a lot of great deals on items through Storkbroker.com.  If you sign up now you can get 3 free commission free sales too!

Flip Ultra Video Camera

I will first start out by saying I am super excited to be able to try out the Flip UltraHD Video Camera because I am a bzzagent with bzzagent.com.  This happened at the perfect time for me because I honestly have been having problems with my current camera.  I took a few videos of my kids today and found it very simple to set up and to use.  I also found that the quality of the video was excellent for a little camera.  I found the camera to shoot high quality video, but also found the picture to be clear and not grainy.  I would love for it to have an option to shoot still photos as well as video, but you can edit your videos and create still photos from that.  I find that to be very neat.  I also messed around with it some more and I had fun sending my video right from the program it comes with to facebook, twitter or an email.

Here is a photo of what I got!  I can't wait to use it some more.

Opening my Bzzkit.  This was taken with my old camera.
