Tunnock's Tea Cakes and Wafers Review

I absolutely love trying new food.  I enjoy it because I find out about so many tasty things that I wouldn't have known about otherwise.  I want to introduce you to Tunnock's.  They offer a variety of sweet and tasty treats.  Their Caramel Wafer Biscuits and Tea Cakes are available at select Cost Plus/World Market Stores.  I was truly impressed with their tasty products.  I can't keep my kiddos out of them too!

Their treats are made with quality ingredients.  You really can tell just by the way they taste!  They are a family owned company and have been around since the 1800's.  This is a company from Scotland.  The company is currently run by Boyd Tunnock.  This is actually the founders grandson.  

I first tried the Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Biscuit.  This is really unlike anything we have here in the US.  It is so good!  This is a layered wafer cookie.  In between the layers are delicious caramel.  Then the entire wafer is coated in quality milk chocolate.  We also sampled Tunnock's Tea Cakes.  These are also super delicious.  This is a biscuit that is topped with soft and gooey marshmallow.  The entire thing is then covered in wonderful milk chocolate.

I received an adorable cupcake necklace for my little girl.  She fell in love with it.  You should have seen how her eyes lit up when she opened the adorable pink box with her adorable cupcake necklace in it.  She put it on right away.  The necklace looks great on.  It is comfortable for her to wear too.  The chain is the perfect length for a child.  She gets so many compliments on her Lily Nily necklace when she wears it.  All of the little girls at school want to know where she got it.

Essentia Water Review

I try and get myself to drink plenty of water during the day.  My goal this year is to take off a few pounds and I know that drinking water is a key part to that.  However, I find it hard to drink as much water as I should in the Winter.  Not all water tastes the same either.  I want to introduce you to Essentia Water.  This is a super hydrating water.

You must be wondering how water can really be that different?  Essentia Water is!  It is great tasting too.  Essentia Water is a purified water that had electrolytes added to it.  It has a pH of 9.5.  They say that along with the electrolytes have special hydrating qualities.  Pretty neat!  This does the same thing as many sports drinks, but it has none of the extras added to it.  That means it has no flavorings, sugar, or artificial sweeteners.  This is great for me to drink after a workout too.  When would you drink Essentia Water?

Does your hair need a boost of shine?  My husband have very thick and wavy hair.  He keeps it long and has been complaining about how dry it has been.  I received a K+ Frizz Control kit.  I had initially planned on using it on my own hair, but then I looked at his and thought it was perfect for this product.  K+ Keratin Frizz Control is a hair care system that creates shiny hair with the use of a keratin treatment.  This is a home treatment that is easy to apply.

The K+ Keratin Frizz Control Treatment is a safe treatment.  It does not contain stinky chemicals.  It can even be used on children or pregnant women.  The treatment is simple to apply too.  That is important.  My husband has a ton of hair and it didn't take long to apply the treatment and get great results.  The treatment is a 5 step process.  I love that they provide you with paperwork that is super easy to follow.

The first step of the treatment is to use the K+ Deep Cleansing Shampoo. This removes any kind of build up that you might have in your hair.  The next step is to blow dry hair to about 80% dry.  I then divided my husband's hair into 4 sections.  I applied the K+ Formaldehyde Free Keratin Treatment.  You comb the product through your hair and then blow dry it.  The next step is to blow dry the hair completely.  You then flat iron the hair.  Our end result was super shiny and soft hair.  You can then wash your hair as soon as an hour after the treatment.  The step 3 shampoo is what you use.  They also include a Hydration Mask and Conditioner that are perfect for maintaining your super shiny locks.

Yoomi Self Warming Bottle Review

It can truly be a challenge when your baby wakes up in the middle of the night and wants a bottle.  It can be exhausting to try and get a bottle warmed at night.  This is true any time though.  When a baby is hungry then want to eat right then!  I want to introduce you to Yoomi.  Yoomie is a self warming bottle.  This is so neat!  The Yoomie feeding system was created by a mom and dad.  The dad created this with his amazing engineering skills.

I received a Yoomi feeding system.  This is an anti-colic bottle, bedside warmer and travel warmer.  This includes the bottle, the warmer and the pod.  The warmer brings the milk to a nice temp in 60 seconds with just the push of a button.  The milk is the perfect temp too.  It reaches the temperature of breast milk.  I have never seen anything else like this!  The pod recharges the warmer in 2 minutes.  You can also use your microwave to recharge, recharge in boiling water, or in an electric steam sterilizer.  The system is very easy to use.  I love that.  It is convenient too!

Jimmy's Sticky Jerky Review - and Kickstarter Campaign

I love when I come across companies that offer quality products that are unlike what you can buy in your regular store.  That is exactly what Jimmy's Sticky Jerky offers!  They offer quality jerky that is super tasty.  It is flavorful, tender, and a wonderful snack.  They have created their jerky by going through a process to perfect it.  I would say it is quite perfect too!  Hopefully, we will soon see this product available throughout the US soon! 

Jimmy's Sticky Jerky is made with real steak.  I personally had a hard time putting down the bag.  It is so good.  I love that the meat has the perfect chew too it.  It is made with nice pieces of meat.  The flavor of the jerky is really good too.  They marinade it and you can really tell because the flavor is great.  It is not overpowering or too salty.  That is really important to me when it comes to good jerky.

Jimmy's Sticky Jerky comes in a variety of tasty flavors.  They offer both beef and turkey options.  They offer Beef Fire, Beef Heat, Beef Sweet, Beef BBQ, Beef Black Pepper, Beef Cilantro Lime, and Beef Really Freaking Hot  The turkey jerky varieties offered are Turkey Heat and Turkey Sweet.  I personally opt for a jerky that isn't sweet, but more savory.  However, they do offer sweet varieties if you like that.  I received some Beef Black Pepper, Beef Really Freaking Hot, and Turkey Heat.  Every single bit of jerky I had was delicious.  I love the Turkey Heat.  This has a nice hot flavor and is very tender.  My absolute favorite was the Beef Really Freaking Hot.  This is very spicy, but it also has a great flavor.  The jerky was also very tender!

Jimmy's Sticky Jerky is currently running a Kickstarter Campaign too.  This is a crowdfunding site to help small businesses.  I personally love to support small businesses!  Their goal is to try and expand their kitchen.  They would like to offer this jerky in stores within the US.  The neat part of this campaign is that 1 donor will get the original oven that helped start Jimmy's Sticky Jerky.  That isn't all though.  That same donor will get to create their own original jerky variety.  This really sounds fun!  You can learn about how you can help by visiting Kickstarter to view their campaign.

Wild Garden Hummus Review

I absolutely love hummus.  I have never had much luck making it at home.  I typically buy it at the store already made.  However, the hummus in the refrigerator section does have a super long shelf life.  I want to introduce you to Wild Garden Hummus.  Their hummus is shelf stable.  I love that I can just pull a jar out of my pantry when I want some.  It is so easy!  It is absolutely delicious too.  I enjoyed their hummus with some cut up veggies and pita bread.  It was some of the best hummus that I have ever had.

Wild Garden Hummus comes in jars that are super easy to pop open.  They offer a great selection of flavors too.  Some of these include traditional, black olive, sun dried tomato, roasted garlic, jalepeno, and more.  My absolute favorite is the jalepeno.  It has a great flavor and a nice zip from the peppers.  These are perfect for parties or just when you want to snack.  Wild Garden Hummus also offers some other really neat products.  They offer Hummus To Go.  This is an individual shelf stable serving of hummus.  These are perfect for lunch boxes too.  They even have gone one step further.  They offer combo packs.  This includes a Hummus To Go and a serving of pita chips.  These are great for snacks or lunchboxes.  There is absolutely no refrigeration needed!
