We eat a lot of Mexican style food in our house. Depending on your region you might not have as easy of a time finding Mexican food products in your local store. I was also sent a traditional Mexican candy that De la Rosa Marzipan. This marzipan candy is excellent. It is made with peanut butter and different than the marzipan I have had made of almond. I really love the peanut butter flavor.
I was thrilled to see the Mexican Vanilla Extract. I love Mexican Vanilla. It is excellent. If you haven't had it then you are really missing out. This vanilla is very flavorful. I also received some savory Mexican food items from El Tri Market. I loved the El Yucateco Green Habanera Salsa. This was really good. It is nice and spicy and has a good flavor. I had never tried it before and it is something I would try again. I didn't even know that you could purchase already prepared packaged Mexican style meats. We love having burritos and tacos with homemade meats like this, but I absolutely love the idea of taking it out of the sealed package and heating it up. The Comel Foods Barbacoa and Carnitas are excellent. They are great for a quick and easy meal and they taste homemade. Any Mexican style meal isn't complete in my opinion without beans and of course some pickled jalepenos. I received some of the La Costena Refried Beans and they are really good. They have a great flavor and taste authentic. They are a great side dish for any Mexican meal. La Costena also offers pickled jalepenos that are really good too! These are my favorite.
