I really try to use products that are as natural as possible and don't have added fragrances. My husband and I and our 2 kids tend to get irritated by things that are strong fragranced and have artificial colors and fragrances. I found out about the Laundry Nuts from The Willow Store and really wanted to try them out. Ok so really what is a Laundry Nut? I'm sure a lot of you haven't heard of these, so I'm going to tell you about them.
Laundry Nuts actually come from trees. They are an all natural alternative to using harsh chemical soaps. They can be used for hand washing or machine washing. They are even great for use in HE top loading washers. The Willow Store sells a sample size pack of these and a 150 load pack. If this is something you just want to try out then the sample size is great for that. They are easy to use and work great. I was really surprised at how easy these were to use. It was just as easy or easier than using liquid or powdered detergent. To use these you add 2 or 3 of the Laundry Nuts to the little pouch provided. You close the pouch and put it in your washer. You simply fill your washing machine about 2/3 of the way and you add your clothes. It's a really simple process. I found that the Laundry Nuts did a great job naturally cleaning my clothes. It also left no strong fragrances which is great! The 2 or 3 nuts you used can also be reused up to 5 times too.
These are definitely something I'm going to continue to use. I love using all natural alternatives! I think the best part about this is that they seemed very gentle on our skin. My family tends to get skin irritations from highly fragranced products.
