I find that when I buy regular paper towels that I go through them very quickly. I use them for household things and my kids are always grabbing one for something or other. I found out about Bambooee and was really interested in trying these. What is a Bambooee? It is a washable bamboo towel.
I received a toll of Bambooee towels to try out. They look almost like paper towels because they come on a roll. They are even perforated like paper towels are and you just tear one of them off. Bambooee are certified organic. They are reusable, washable, bleachable and they don't make as much waste as your typical paper towel would. A 20 sheet roll of Bambooee towels is equivalent to 60 paper towel rolls! Bambooee can be used in cleaning, cooking and much more.
I put the Bambooee towels to the test. What did I find? They work great. I personally felt they were more absorbent than a paper towel. I had to make sure I told my kids and husband though that they were reusable. I definitely didn't want them throwing out any of my new awesome towels! Bambooee towels are nice and thick too, but they are also very soft. These are great for little ones that always need their hands and faces wiped up. The Bambooee website even suggested using these instead of napkins. These are a great substitute for paper or cloth napkins too. So what do you do with a Bambooee after you've used it? I am personally just putting them in a bag and then washing them. I love that they can be reused after you wash them. I was curious as to how they would wash up, but they washed up great. I am so excited to use these now instead of paper towels.
