New Zealand Natural Goods - RJ's Licorice Review

I have done other reviews for New Zealand Natural Goods.  Previously I was lucky enough to be able to review an Easiyo Yogurt maker.  They offer a number of products that they import from New Zealand.  They began in 2003 and are based in Los Angeles.  They strive to bring some of the great products from New Zealand to the US.

I have always wanted to try licorice from New Zealand.  I have always wondered how it is really that different from your typical licorice from the US.  I received a number of different varieties of RJ's Licorice from New Zealand Natural Goods.  RJ's Licorice is available on the New Zealand Natural Goods website in a number of different flavors and varieties.  I really enjoyed trying all of the varieties I received.  I am a huge fan of black licorice and RJ's is excellent.  I also want to say that the fruit flavored licorice is definitely not as sweet as most licorice I buy here in the US.  I actually like the RJ's Licorice better because you honestly can taste the flavors better!  RJ's Licorice can be found in bags, but also in an individual log.  All of the varieties we samples were super soft and fresh, flavorful and very delicious.  RJ's comes in the following varieties. . . .

Natural Soft Eating Licorice

Natural Soft Eating Raspberry Licorice

Licorice Chocolate Log

Strawberry Licorice White Chocolate Log

Licorice Chocolate Twists

After sampling all of the great varieties it is impossible to choose a favorite.  It really just depends on what I'm in the mood for.  I just want to say that RJ's Licorice has done something amazing by combining raspberry and chocolate.  It is a wonderful combination and I've never had licorice like this before.  If you want to purchase your own RJ's Licorice you can get it from the New Zealand Natural Goods website.  These are wonderful if you are a licorice lover or want to give someone a great gift too!
