Windows 8 Party from Crowdtap and Verizon

I have been a little behind on the times.  I personally have not had a smartphone.  You probably are saying - WHAT????  I have had a basic cell phone that I simply use for calling.  However, I was recently chosen to host a party through Crowdtap and was sent a Windows HTC 8X Verizon Phone.  I love it!  I can't say that enough.  This phone is so easy to use and I have really been missing out.

I hosted my party over the weekend and my friends and family were impressed by the phone.  We enjoyed trying out all the great features on the phone.  This is a great phone that is super user friendly.  It makes it easy to call, text, and connect to the internet wherever you are.  There were a number of fun games we played at our party.  We had 3 lucky winner's of a Pinterest challenge that we took part in.  The lucky winner's loved their Verizon Swag bags too!

The phone has a number of features that my guests were impressed with!  One was the kid's corner.  What is that exactly?  This is a hit with a lot of my mommy friends.  The HTC 8X phone has the ability to allow you to only let your kids view the content you want them to view on your phone.  This is nice because there is no way your child can accidentally call someone or text someone.  They are only allowed to access the games and apps that you have given them permission to access.  Love it!  That is a plus for me as a mom of a 6 and 7 year old.  The other favorite feature is that the phone itself doubles as an XBOX controller too.  I love that the phone has tiles on it that you click on to access different things.  I like that these tiles can be customized to your needs.  Pretty neat!

We had a blast at our party and enjoyed sharing this phone with our guests!  Everyone was impressed with the ease of use of the phone too!  I would like to give a big "Thank you" to Verizon and Crowdtap for being given this opportunity.
