Candy Japan Review

I love candy and most definitely I love trying new types.  I am always interested in trying foods that come from different countries.  I think trying different foods from other countries really tells you something about their culture.  What is your favorite type of candy?  Have you tried candy from other countries that you enjoyed?  I want to introduce you to Candy Japan.  This is a subscription that is $25 and it will give you 2 shipments a month of Japanese Candy.

I received a package from Japan in the mail and was so excited to open it.  My shipment of candy from Japan had arrived.  The best part about candy Japan is that it is always a surprise as to what will be in the envelope.  My kids could not wait to tear open the fun colored packages.  It was really interesting because the packages we received were written in Japanese.  Pretty neat!  My kids were definitely intrigued and so was I.

I first opened the package of ITO EN gummy type candies.  I have actually had some of ITO EN's tea and love it.  I was excited to see this brand on the package of candy.  The gummy candies were made of both fruits and veggies and had a really nice taste.  They weren't too sweet.  They are really cute and shaped like little girl's faces too.

The next package of candy I received was really amazing.  This was kind of like a do it yourself candy kit.  It came with a few different packages that you mixed in the containers with water.  You then made little candy droplets in the water and it turned into a jelly type candy.  It was almost like candy caviar.  Very cool.  There was another solution that you mixed with water that made a sweet and sour like foam.  My kids loved making this and loved eating it.
