Field Trip Jerky Review

Disclosure - free sample provided.

I really love beef jerky, but it has to be good jerky.  I used to make my own and that is definitely a ton of work.  Field Trip Jerky makes jerky that is so good.  I am really excited to introduce you to their products.  They make jerky the way it should be made.  The flavors accentuate the beef that is used and don't cover them up.

Field Trip Jerky was created by Matt, Scott, and Tom.  They were fed up with the processed jerky that you find many places.  Field Trip jerky was first sold in 2011.  In 2012 Wegman's started to carry it in their stores.  The popularity of this jerky continued to spread.  It is even offered for purchase on some jetBlue flights.

What makes Field Trip Jerky different?  It is made with lean meat.  It is made without preservatives, MSG, and nitrates.  It is a low fat snack too.  You really can taste the difference.  I love that I can eat Field Trip Jerky and feel good about eating it and giving it to my kids.

Field Trip Jerky comes in 3 great flavors.  My husband's favorite variety is the Original #3 jerky.  This is a traditional style beef jerky.  It has great flavor, but it isn't overly salty or sweet.  It's excellent.  I loved the Teriyaki #23 jerky.  I love that it has great flavor and a touch of sweetness from the Teriyaki.  However, you still can taste the flavor of the beef used.  The Five Honey Spice #11 is also excellent if you like a little bit bolder flavor.  This combines honey with excellent spices.

Field Trip Jerky uses USDA approved beef.  The jerky is made here in the US too.  The jerky is delicious and definitely something we would eat again.  You can visit their website to learn more about this jerky.  You can find out where you can buy it or you can purchase it directly from the website.  You can also connect with Field Trip Jerky on Facebook and Twitter.
