My kids always ask for those frozen meals they see at the store that are geared towards kids.  I admit that I have bought them before, but then they usually don't even eat them.  I will be honest and I don't really think they are great for you.  Many frozen meals are loaded with extra fat and sodium too.  So what do you do then as a parent when you want something that is quick and nutritious for your kids?

I want to introduce you to Kidfresh.  Yes, these meals are found in the frozen section.  However, they are not your typical frozen meal.  They are a "healthy" frozen meal geared towards kids.  Kidfresh meals are all natural frozen meals and contain no artificial ingredients.  They were actually created by a pediatric nutritionist.  Kidfresh offers many popular child friendly foods, but they put a healthy twist on them.  Kidfresh meals are rich in veggies too!  

I took my kids to the store with me to pick out the Kidfresh meal that they wanted to try.  I found these at my local Vons grocery store.  Both of my kids chose the Wagon Wheels Mac + Cheese.  My kids really loved the meal too!  I tasted it and it was very good.  I was really impressed with the cheese sauce.  It not only has some creamy cheese sauce, but also gooey cheese in it too.  I love that there is carrot blended up in the cheese sauce to add some veggies to your child's diet.  My son is super picky and I thought he would notice, but he didn't.  He ate the entire thing.
