Michael Angelo's Pasta Review and #Giveaway 7/15 CLOSED

Disclosure - free sample provided.

I love homemade Italian style dishes.  They are so good, but they can be quite a bit of work.  I usually make my homemade lasagna on the weekends when I have time.  What do you do though when you want traditional style homemade dishes like lasagna and don't have the time?  I use frozen dishes from Michael Angelo's.  I want to introduce you to Michael Angelo's.  They offer frozen Italian style dishes that are made in small batches.  They have that delicious homemade taste that my entire family enjoys.

Michael Angelo's offers family size meals and smaller individual ones.  They are both great when you want a quality frozen Italian style meal.  They are made with quality ingredients and the proof is in the taste.  Michael Angelo's has been making Italian food now for over 30 years.  Their goal was to offer high quality frozen Italian food and they have done a wonderful job doing it.  They use imported cheese and quality tomato products.  These are their family recipes that are available in your freezer isle.

I chose a meat lasagna to try from Michael Angelo's.  I love lasagna and have a very hard time finding one that tastes traditional.  I am sorry to say, but most frozen lasagna products taste like they have ketchup for sauce.  That's not tasty to me.  Michael Angelo's lasagna is very different.  The sauce is amazing.  It is flavorful and savory.  I love that the meat in the sauce gives it a nice rich flavor.  The noodles are a nice texture.  I noticed that they hold their shape during microwaving.  The cheese is super delicious too.  I would definitely make this again.  I am impressed because this is some of the best frozen lasagna I have ever had!

Michael Angelo's also offers a variety of flatbreads, but also offers veggie lasagna, shrimp scampi, baked ziti with meatballs, chicken alfredo, her roasted chicken and much more.  What variety would you want to try?  You can learn more about all of the products that they offer by visiting their website.  You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter.

Don't forget to enter Michael Angelo's contest for a chance at a trip for 7 days for 2.  To enter visit their Facebook page and share  your love or expertise about Italian food by submitted a short video.  You can see complete details on the contest while you are there.  The contest ends on July 5th.
