Our family love lighter meals in the warmer months. What do you make to lighten up meals? We eat quite a bit of pasta salad. I use it as both a side dish and a complete meal. I have found that by adding extra things like chicken or ham that you can make a great meal. It's great with extra veggies mixed into it too. I love that it's a light meal and it tastes great. I often make my own pasta salad from scratch, but that can be time consuming. I use Suddenly Salad though because it's a great tasting product that is quick and delicious.
Suddenly Salad comes in great varieties. Our personal favorite is the Classic Suddenly Salad. I make this all the time and add extra mix ins. The most recent time I made it I added some cut up ham, black olives, and diced tomato. What would you add to it? Suddenly Salad is a great side dish for weeknight meals, but it's a great addition to any BBQ too. I used to wonder what to bring to BBQ's all of the time. I usually opt to bring pasta salad now because it tends to be a big hit.
You can also check out the Betty Crocker website to find some really great recipe ideas that use Suddenly Salad mixes. Some of the recipes they have include Dijon Chicken and Pasta Salad, Quick Antipasto Pasta Salad, and Layered Mexican Party Salad. I can't wait to try some of these!
