Papa Ben's Kitchen Mandelbroyt - Mandel Bread Review

Disclosure - free sample provided.

Have you ever had Mandelbroyt?  When I was growing up my grandmother would spend a lot of time in the kitchen making a delicious treat called mandel bread.  What exactly is mandel bread?  Mandelbroyt (or otherwise known as mandel bread) is a crunchy, sweet and delicious cookie.  Papa Ben's Kitchen offers mandel bread that is made with quality ingredients.  It is so good!  The best part about it is that I don't have to spend a ton of time in my kitchen making it!

Papa Ben's Mandelbroyt is made with a family recipe.  This crunchy cookie is similar to a biscotti.  It is great with coffee in the morning, but it's also great as a dessert.  They are great for dipping too.  Papa Ben's mandel bread is a great item to have in your pantry to serve to guest too.  This Eastern European Cookie is Kosher and dairy free.

Papa Ben's mandel bread is available in a variety of tasty flavors.  They offer their original family recipe, but they also offer some more unique varieties too.  They offer a Minty Dark Chocolate, Chocolate Espresso Bean, Spicy Chipotle with Ginger & Dark Chocolate, and a Lemon Blueberry with Poppy Seeds mandel bread.  What variety would you want to try?  We loved them all.  My personal favorites are the Original Family Recipe and the Lemon Blueberry with Poppy Seeds.

Papa Ben (Ben Lessar) has also founded the Zachor Holocaust Remembrance Foundation.  This is an amazing foundation.  Ben Lessar is not just the founder, but he is also a Holocaust survivor.  The idea behind this foundation is something very important.  They want to educate people so that what happened is never forgotten.  I received a Zachor pin along with my wonderful package of mandel bread.  My 6 year old may not be old enough to understand exactly what happened, but she was more than thrilled to wear this pin on her shirt.  The idea behind the organization is to help raise money to make these pins.  The pins will continue to spread the word!

You can learn more about both Papa Ben's Kitchen and the Zachor Foundation by visiting the Papa Ben's website.  You can also purchase your own Papa Ben's ManelBroyt directly from the website.  The packages retail for $6.99 each.  You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter.
