Great Books for Children 3 and Up - Disney Books - Review

My kids love to read.  I think getting your kids to enjoy reading at a young age is very important.  What kinds of books do your children love to read?  My kids love books relating to shows that they watch on TV.  Disney offers a great selection of books that are themed around the characters in their shows.  These are really fun for children that are 3 years of age and up.  I honestly did not know that they offered such a huge selection of books.  

Doc McStuffins

Disney offers a great selection of books for the child that loves Doc McStuffins.  I received a copy of Leilani's Luau.  This is a wonderfully illustrated book.  This includes more than 60 stickers too.  Children in this age group love stickers.  This makes the book extra fun!  The book has a fun Hawaiian theme.  The book will be available March 18th and will retail for $4.99.  

Jake and the Neverland Pirates

Disney offers a huge selection of Jake and the Neverland Pirates books.  My nephew is in love with this show!  These books are perfect for him.  I love that they offer books in different levels.  They offer picture books, leveled readers and more.  Surfin' Turf is a great leveled reader.  It is perfect for those just starting to read.  This book follows Jake as he has to get his surfboard back.  The book is 32 illustrated pages.  It will be available March 4th and will retail for $3.99.  I also received a copy of the Birthday Bash book.  This is a colorful picture book that comes with more than 60 stickers.  This book would make a great gift for a child's birthday too!  The book retails for $4.99.  Follow That Sound is a board book that is themed around music.  This book will be available for purchase March 20th and will retail for $10.99.

Sofia the First

Do you have a little girl that just loves Sofia?  Disney offers a great selection of books featuring her too!  The Enchanted Feast is a beautifully illustrated picture book.  There is even an appearance from Snow White int he book.  This book also includes a neat digital song download.  Sofia Takes the Lead is a leveled reader.  This is perfect for those just starting to read on their own.  The wording is simple and the illustrations are great too.  This book is about Sofia's Buttercup troop.  The book will be available March 4th and will retail for $3.99.  Lastly, The Royal Slumber Party is a board book that features a fun slumber party!  This book also includes a mobile app too!  All of these are great for any Sofia the First fan!

Minnie

Minnie's Trouble Times Two is also a great illustrated board book.  This book also comes with a mobile app that makes this an interactive experience.  The book will be available for purchase March 20th.  It will retail for $10.99.  The story is about Penelope Poodle and she visits the Bow-tique to find an outfit.  

Disney Fairies 

My daughter loved the Pirate Fairy Read-Along.  This is not just a book, but it includes a CD.  This is really nice if you have beginning readers.  It reads along with your child.  My daughter is a huge Tinkerbell fan.  The book features Tinkerbell.  My daughter thought it was really neat that the CD features movie voices!  It really makes the book extra fun to read.

Frozen

An Amazing Snowman is an adorable picture book that is fun to read!  I even enjoyed it.  It features Olaf, the snowman.  He just puts a smile on my face and my kid's faces.  He is a fun character and that helps engage children when they are reading!  The book retails for $16.99.  This would also make a great gift for any child that loves Frozen.
