We love cereal for breakfast in our house. It is a quick way to provide my kids with something when we are in a rush. Cereal has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid! I was very excited the other day when I went to Target. I saw that they had a display of cereals from Big G, but they were packaged in retro style boxes. This truly brought me back to my childhood. I was even more excited when a box of these retro packaged cereals showed up at my door! The cereal is the same great cereal, but it is packaged in a way that will take you back in time! This really is fun. My husband even asked me why the Cheerios said "Delicious Debut 1945" on the box. I explained to him that they were retro packaging. My kids were also very amused. I told them that this is more what the packaging looked like for these cereals when I was a kid!
The retro packaging for these Big G cereals is available at Target. They are offering this on Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Honey Nut Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Reese's Peanut Butter Puffs. Isn't the packaging so much fun? Do you remember when the cereal boxes looked like this? I absolutely love the Lucky Charms packaging. I think it's my absolute favorite. Which one do you love?

I like when they do retro items, and Iit brings back pleasant memories, I love the Cheerios box and it reminds me of when we first started eating Cheerios, and my brothers and I would fight over who got the box first, and I remember eating the cereal straight out of the box with no milk. Way to go Big G cereals,
ReplyDeleteI think the retro packaging is great! It makes it fun for the parents. We use a lot of Cheerios and General Mills products also.
