I grew up enjoying challah bread. This is a delicious egg bread. I have never attempted to make it myself though. I have always been afraid that it wouldn't come out right. Have you ever had challah bread or made it? Tribes a Dozen offers bread mixes and you can make challah bread at home with their Voila! Hallah mixes. The mixes come with instructions that are easy to follow. The result is great tasting challah bread.
The Voila! Hallah bread mixes come in 3 great varieties. They offer traditional, simply spelt, and wholey wheat. I tried out the traditional mix and loved it. I mixed everything in my bread machine. I then removed the dough to braid and allow to rise. It really was simple. You can choose to make a loaf bread or a traditional braided bread. The mix comes with a packet of yeast and a pouch of mix. You simply add eggs and vegetable oil to the mix. You can top your bread with sesame or poppy seeds. I was impressed with how easy the mix was to use and how great the bread came out. The Voila! Hallah bread mix made a flavorful challah that was soft and delicious.
You can find out where to purchase these mixes here.

I learned their products are Kosher and all-natural.
ReplyDeleteI think I would like to try the Traditional. It almost looks like a bread we make at Christmas called Yukekakka (means Christmas Cake)...which has fruit in it too.
