Kate Walden Directs - Book Review

Disclosure - free sample provided.

What books are your children reading this Summer?  My 7 and 9 year old are always looking for new reads during the Summer season.  I recently received an advance copy of an excellent book compliments of Disney Publishing.  Disney offers a variety of books for all reading levels.  Did you know they even offer books for older children too?  Kate Walden Directs is a book geared towards children 8 to 12.  I read this book with my 7 and 9 year old and we really enjoyed it.

Kate Walden Directs was released on May 20th, so it is available to purchase now!  The book is a funny story for tweens.  It is a great story about friendship.  The book talks about the struggles of kids at this age.  It incorporates things that many of our kids deal with in every day life.  It deals with situations where friends aren't always nice.  Although the book has a silly side, I think it teaches kids the reality of life.

The book is a story about tween girls.  The book is about Kate Walden's film.  The book is about Kate and her co-stars.  These co-stars are organic hens!  The book is silly, but fun at the same time.  It is a great read if your child loves fun plots!

The author of Kate Walden Directs is Julie Mata.  She is a producer and writer.  She has also worked as a reporter and a producer.  You can learn more about the book, Kate Walden Directs, by visiting the Disney website here.
