More Great Books for Children from Disney - Review

Disclosure - free sample provided.

I always get so excited when I receive books to review.  Reading is something I am very passionate about.  I am very dedicated to teaching my kids to enjoy reading.  Disney makes it easy to do this.  I think if you find books that your child enjoys, then reading is fun for them and something that they will want to do.  Disney offers so many great books for children of all ages.  My kids really enjoy sitting down and reading Disney books.  We received some really neat books from Disney to read.

World of Reading
Disney's World of Reading books are geared towards readers that are just starting out.  These come in a variety of levels, so you can match that to your child's skill set.  I received two Sofia the First World of Reading books.  Blue-Ribbon Bunny is a Level 1 reader.  This book follows the story of Sofia wanting to win a pet contest.  The book is nicely illustrated and has simple sentences.  Just One of the Princes is also a Level 1 reader.  This is a cute story about how Sofia wants to win the Royal Prep's Flying Derby Race.

Disney Picture Books
Disney's Planes Fire & Rescue is a Read-Along Storybook and CD.  This really is a neat interactive way for your child to read the book.  My kids liked that the book even features the character voices.  The story is about how Dusty Crophoppy tries to save a national park from a big fire.  Minnie Wishing on a Bow is another great story from Disney.  This is really a cute book that includes a genie too.  My daughter found this book to be written at a level that was easy for her to read, but not frustrating.  The Jake Cubby's Mixed-Up Map is a book featuring over 70 stickers.  This is not just a great book, but the stickers make the book even more fun.  The story is really cute as Jake tries to follow the wrong map that Hook switched on him.  Doc's Mobile Clinic is a board style book.  This is a great book that is durable for those of you that have kids that might be rough on books.  This full color book is a story of how Doc McStuffins can fix toys on the go.  Meet the Planes is a hard cover book that features the characters from Planes.  The book also includes a fun poster.  I really like how this book is written.  It features a picture of different characters and then has a blurb on each one.  Sofia the First Princesses to the Rescue is a great book for the Sofia fan.  The book also includes a digital song.  The story is about Sofia and the princesses trying to save their families.

Read-and-Sing
My daughter really liked these book.  The books feature digital downloadable songs too.  The Sleeping Beauty Read-and-Sing book is a 128 page book with great pictures in it.  The story follows Sleeping Beauty.  The book also has plenty of text, so even an older child that is a princess fan will enjoy reading this.  Disney's Tangled Read-and-Sing is also a wonderful full color book.  This is a book that follows Rapunzel through her adventures.

Junior Encyclopedia
I was so excited to see this Disney Junior Encyclopedia of Animated Characters.  This is an impressive hard bound book.  It has over 150 Disney characters in the book.  The pages feature a character along with a picture.  There is also a description of each character too.  This really is a great book for any true Disney fan.

Disney's Classic Storybook
I personally fell in love with this book.  This book features the Disney stories that I remember as a kid.  This is not just a great book for kids, but as an adult it brings back fun memories for me.  I really love the vintage artwork in this book too.  The book has stories about Mr. Toady, Bambi, The Flying Car, and many more.  This really is a neat book to add to your collection.

These are just some of the great books that Disney offers for children.  You can learn more about their great selection of books by visiting their website.
