Animas and Magic Delivery - Book Review

I have been trying to challenge my son with reading some more difficult books this summer.  We have found that when he reads chapter books, that he finishes them in about 30 minutes.  Did you know that Disney offers a great selection of books for the more advanced child reader?  They offer a great selection of books for tweens.  I was so excited to receive two of these, and my son has really enjoyed reading them!

Magic Delivery

This book is geared towards children 8 to 12 years old.  The book is written by the author of a series that was award winning.  You might know her work from the series, "Intergalactic Bed & Breakfast."  The book follows a middle school boy named Nick.  The story is really cute.  The book is a perfect read with Halloween coming up too!  Nick is a boy that was born with a knack for business.  This great story incorporates elements of fantasy into it too.  It truly is a great read.  

Animas - Legacy of the Claw

This is a book that will be available for purchase on October 28th.  The book incorporates adventure with some fantasy.  This is the first book in this series.  The book is about Bailey, and he is a 12 year old boy.  The book is about the bond that humans have with animals.  Bailey has just started to attend an academy where there are some mysterious things going on.  He is eager to figure things out, and has to know what is going on.  This book is an excellent read for ages 8-12.  We can't wait to see what happens in the rest of this series.
