Damascus Bakeries Review

I am always looking for ways to make meals fun for my family.  We tend to eat the same thing over and over again, and it can get boring.  I was recently introduced to Damascus Bakeries.  I fell in love with their flatbread style products.  These are a great way to change up your typical sandwich.  Their products are delicious.  I found that my kids loved creating their own flatbread style sandwiches with their tasty products.  Damascus Bakeries offers pita bread, Lahvash, Panini bread, and more.

We first tried out the Lahvash from Damascus Bakeries.  This is a super soft, thin, and flexible style flatbread.  These come in a variety of great flavors too.  My favorite flavor was their Garden Grain.  These are perfect to create a wrap style sandwich.  Their Lahvash Roll-Ups are easy to work with too.  You simply add your ingredients and roll it up.  These are a great alternative to a regular sandwich on bread.  They are fun for lunch boxes too.  I tried these with a variety of different fillings.  I used them to make a breakfast roll up, and a veggie roll up.  You can even use a little bit of hummus or cream cheese to help hold your roll up together.  I was so impressed with how soft and chewy the Lahvash Roll Up flatbread was.  I also like that it is much lighter than a typical piece of bread.

We also really enjoyed the pita bread from Damascus Bakeries.  My kids love that they offer mini pitas.  These are available in an original and a whole wheat variety.  This is the perfect size for the little ones.  These are a traditional style pita with a pocket.  You can fill the pocket with a variety of tasty items.  They are great for dipping in hummus.  I love to use these as a side when we are eating grilled veggies and meat.  They are fun to fill with the veggies and meat, and then enjoy.  What is your favorite way to enjoy pita bread?
