Schwan's Home Delivery Review

Have you ever ordered anything from Schwan's?  I have always been interested in their home delivery service.  I see the truck in my neighborhood all of the time too.  I recently was given the opportunity to  try out their service.  I was so excited.  I think the hardest part of my review was to choose exactly what I wanted to try.  They offer a huge selection of tasty frozen items.  These include ice cream, desserts, breads, meats, and much more.  What would you want to try?

I made a decision and chose to review Schwan's Fire Grilled Chicken Breast Fillets.  There are so many times when I have thought that I just wish I had some leftover chicken to throw on a salad, toss into pasta, or put in a wrap.  The Fire Grilled Chicken Breast is a great solution for that.  There are so many great ways to eat this chicken.  You can either microwave the chicken or heat it in the oven.  We served the chicken sliced over some homemade brown butter pasta.  The chicken was flavorful, juicy, and tender.  This really makes for an easy weeknight meal.

I also decided that I had to try their ice cream.  I have always heard that Schwan's has amazing ice cream, so I had to see for myself.  I ordered their CONFETTI ice cream cups.  These are the perfect portion for any celebration, or dessert.  This is creamy vanilla ice cream topped with candy coated chips.  It is so good.  My kids loved these ice cream cups, but my husband and I really enjoyed them too!
