Wine Amplified - Las Vegas - Review

Disclosure - free sample provided.

Do you love wine?  I absolutely love trying new wines.  It's always fun to taste something that you haven't tried before.  Do you love great music?  I definitely do!  I want to tell you about Wine Amplified.  This is a perfect event if you hare a wine lover, and you love rock music.  The Wine Amplified Festival was here in Vegas on October 11th and 12th.  The event took place at the MGM Resort Village.  This is really a great venue.  It is open, and I really liked that.  We had so much fun at this festival.

The Wine Amplified Festival had a huge selection of wineries at this event.  I was truly impressed.  They offered tastes and glasses from wineries like Barefoot, Carnivor, La Marca, Luna, Wagner Family, and many more.  I personally love Carnivor's Cab, and had to have a glass!  So maybe you love the music aspect of this festival, but don't love wine?  Don't worry.  My husband is usually a beer drinker, and they have beer tastings as well.  The Wine Amplified Festival even had a Speakeasy with some liquor options too.  Overall, we were impressed with the wide selection of beverages that were available.  Wine Amplified even had an impressive Food Truck Blvd.  This was a great place to pick up a bite to eat, and try some great eats from food trucks.

The Friday night of the festival featured bands like Train, Better Than Ezra, and many more.  My husband and I attended the Saturday night date of the Wine Amplified Festival.  I have always loved great rock music.  That is exactly what this festival had to offer.  The festival had two different stages.  They had one stage that was sponsored by one of my favorite wineries.  The Barefoot Wine stage was absolutely fun!  This stage was surrounded by a sandy beach area.  This really made the stage fun!  The Beach Stage had bands such as The Dirty Hooks, New Beat Fund, and more.  The main stage had amazing bands like Magic, the Violent Femmes, and Blink-182.  I personally loved the New Beat Fund.  I had never heard them prior to this event, but I thought they had a great edgy rock sound.  I was very excited to see the Violent Femmes. This is a band that I grew up loving.  They sounded excellent live, and truly impressed me.  They played a number of their songs that are very well known like American Music and more!  Blink-182 went on last on the main stage.  They did a great job, and their music brought me back to my high school days.

You can learn more about the Wine Amplified Festival by visiting their website.  I am ready for next year!  Are you going?   You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter.
