I am always looking for books that will help inspire my children, and teach them to be good people.  Devotionals are always great for that.  The Brave Girls:  Better Than Perfect A 90-Day Devotional does just that.  This book is great for young girls.  It helps them understand parts of the bible, and it does this in a fun way that young girls will understand.  I thought that this book was perfect for my 8 year old daughter.  

The book really appeals to girls because the characters in the book are girls themselves.  Honor and Faith are Brave Girls.  These two girls make it easy for children to relate to what is going on.  Each section of this book features a part of the bible.  These Sections are then explained in language that is easy to understand.  The book is something that your child can read one section a day over a 90 day period. 

I really liked that the book also includes activities that your child can do to really help them understand certain things.  This is really neat and my daughter enjoyed this too.  This is a hands on way for them to understand the bible.  The book also has a section that allows them to write their own answers in to questions.  This helps them think how they would handle certain situations, or deal with difficult things.  

The Brave Girls:  Better Than Perfect A 90-Day Devotional is a meaningful and fun read for girls!
