We love to read in our house. I am always looking for great new books for my 8 and 10 year old to enjoy. What are your children reading? I recently received a copy of Dr. Critchlore's School for Minions. This book is written by Sheila Grau and illustrated by Joe Sutphin. This book will be available for purchase this month!
This book is a great book for children 8 years and up. The book will retail for $15.95. My 10 year old really enjoyed the book. This is a fun read, that really gets your child's imagination going. This is a book that my son didn't want to put down. The book is fun, silly, and unique. It incorporates some spookiness, but it really isn't frightening for this age level. The book also incorporates great illustrations throughout it. I think this makes it even more fun to read!
Dr. Chritchlore's School for Minions is about a school that trains minions for Evil Overlords. Runt Higgins is attending the school. Runt goes to classes like History of Henchman and Introduction to Explosives. You get to learn about his life at the school. He is a 12 year old werewolf. The book incorporates themes of adventure, and mystery. Runt realizes that someone is trying to shut the school down. He is on a mission to figure out who.
