NYC New York Color Liquid Lipshine Review

I recently received this product for free to try from Influenster in my Voxbox.  I was impressed.  I received the Nude New York City color and it goes on nicely.  I like the little bit of shimmer that it provides.  I like that it provides plenty of glossy shine, but doesn't make your lips feel sticky and gooey.  This is a good color and a great lipgloss to keep in your purse for when you're on the go.

imPress Press-On Manicure Review

I received a set of imPress Press-On nails from Inluenster and gave them a try.  I haven't used the press on type nails in a long time, so I was interested in seeing how they worked.  They were very easy to stick on.  I like that it's an instant manicure.  I love that they come in a variety of colors and are already painted.  Many of the designs are fun and others are more conservative.  I received the Lil Drumr Grl design and they are cute.  They are almost like a hot pink with zebra lines on it.  These are great to press on for a fun occasion.  What nail design is your favorite from ImPress?

The best part?  There is no wait time for drying!  I love that these can be removed simply and easily.  They have superior lasting shine!  ImPress Press-On nails can last for up to a week.

Capresso Froth PRO Review

I love coffee house style drinks, but am always looking for ways to make them myself at home.  I recently received a Capresso Froth PRO and was so thrilled to start making my own fun frothy drinks.

The Capresso froth PRO is a great way to make frothed milk at home.  The best thing about it is that it's easy.  It isn't complicated at all.  The Capresso froth PRO has 3 settings.  I like that you can use it on cold milk, and then you also have the option to make your milk warm or hot.

I first tried using the Capresso froth PRO to make frothy hot chocolate.  My kids really enjoyed this.  I just mixed up some cold chocolate milk and put it in the cup of the froth PRO.  The next step was to simple put the lid on and push the button.  I just warmed the hot chocolate for my kids because I didn't want it too hot for them.  They loved this.  It made the hot chocolate foamy and delicious.  I also added a drizzle of raspberry syrup to it and it was amazing.

I also used the Capresso froth PRO this morning this morning and added some frothed milk to my coffee.  I love that I can use my skim milk for this and cut down on calories, but it still tastes amazing.  So what I did was steamed a small amount of nonfat milk and then topped my coffee with it.  I also added a tiny drizzle of vanilla italian syrup to my coffee and this was an amazing drink.  It was a lot of fun to have my own fancy drink in minutes.

The best part of the Capresso froth PRO is that it is so easy to use.  I can't get over how quickly it takes to make yourself a great frothy glass of milk and it's  no work.  You don't even have to stand their and watch it.  The Capresso froth PRO is great because it does all the work on it's own after you push the button.

KQC Turbo Flat Iron

I recently received a KQC Turbo Flat Iron from the Flat Iron Experts and tested it out.  I have previously used flat irons on my hair, but with my experience many of them seem to dry your hair out too much.  I put the KQC Turbo Flat Iron to the test by using it on my hair and my sister's hair.  I thought it would be a good way to test the flat iron out because my hair is a different texture than my sister's.

I first tried the KQC Turbo on my own hair.  It didn't need to be heated up to the max heat to work on my hair.  My hair has a tiny bit of wave to it and it is fine.  The flat irons smoothed away my frizzies and made my hair look really smooth.  I also used the KQC Turbo along with the KQC Thermal Shine Spray.  I found that the Thermal Shine Spray helped the flat iron perform even better.  It makes your hair super glossy.  I loved the way my hair felt when I was done.  

When my sister tried out the KQC Turbo it worked well in her hair too.  Her hair is a little thicker than mine and each hair is a little coarser and it worked well to smooth her hair and made it shiny too!

I also found that this flat iron has a great cord because it swivels.  It makes it easier to use.  The length of the cord is great too.  It seems to have a little extra length to it than many other flat irons I have used.  I like that the heat is adjustable and I really like that it heats up quickly.  The flat iron itself easily glides through your hair.  You have the option on this to increase the heat to 450 degrees if needed.  You can purchase the KQC Turbo on sale at the Flat Iron Experts for $179.99 and it normally retails for $299.95.  

About the KQC - This flat iron helps you get a professional look.  The plates are made out of ceramic and tourmaline.  It helps hold in the moisture in your hair.  The KQC Turbo also creates less damage.  

I would recommend this product if you need a great flat iron that performs really well.

Amazing Cheese and Butter from Kerrygold

My husband and I found some amazing cheese a few years back at our local grocery store.  We came across some Irish cheese by the name of Kerrygold and absolutely fell in love with the product.  We have been eating Kerrygold cheese for years now.  My husband and I both love the Cheddar and Dubliner cheese.  I recently received some samples from Kerrygold and was so excited to try some varieties that I've never tried before.  I was so excited to taste the Swiss, Reserve White Cheddar, Blarney Castle, Reduced Fat Cheddar, and Red Leicester.  We normally purchase the Cheddar from our local store, but I will say that we were a fan of them all!  I've had a few of them, but I was so excited to try the Swiss which was new and I was in love.  It's got an amazing flavor, but not overpowering.  The Reserve White Cheddar was excellent as always and has a great flavor.  The Reduced Fat Cheddar has the wonderful taste of the regular Cheddar variety, but less fat.  I tried the Red Leicester for the first time and really enjoyed it.  This is one that my kids loved because it has a great flavor, but isn't too strong.  I have to say that all of the Kerrygold varieties of cheese are wonderful.  I brought some over to a family party this evening and everyone love it!  It was definitely a hit.  If you need an easy appetizer for holiday gatherings Kerrygold cheese is an excellent idea.  It's easy and delicious.

I have also seen Kerrygold butter in the store and finally had the opportunity to try it.  I received some of the salted butter, unsalted butter and garlic herb butter.  When you think of butter you think well how can it really be that different, but I will tell you Kerrygold butter is definitely different.  It tastes fresh and has an amazing flavor.  My kids and I tried the butter on crackers and we all gobbled it up.  It's amazing how much of a difference you can see in really good quality butter like Kerrygold.  I loved the garlic herb butter and enjoyed the flavor.  I also like that it has a nice garlic and herb taste, but it isn't too overpowering.

Betty Lukens Learning Fun with Felts Review

Learning Fun with Felts are a neat interactive activity for kids that allows them to use their imagination.  My son and daughter received the Undersea and Adventures in Space sets to try out.  This is a great item to buy for children ages 3 and up.  What Betty Lukens sets come with are a felt board and felt pictures that your child can stick on the board.  There is absolutely no mess.  There is no glue or tape needed to get these to stick.  The felt just sticks to the other piece of felt.  The best part is that your child can rearrange the picture however they want over and over again.  I enjoyed watching my kids play with these sets and listen to them make up fun stories to go along with the scene that they create on the felt board.  This is a nice quiet activity when you need a break from electronic and noisy toys.  The product is made very well.  My kids tend to be rough on things and these felt sets look like they are going to hold up well to my kids use.  

Betty Lukens Learning Fun with Felts come in lots of fun varieties.  I personally love the Undersea and Adventures in Space.  My son just got done doing a report for school relating to Undersea animals, so he fell in love with this one.  They have bible felts, educational felts, felt books, inspirational felt sets, and more.
