Doodle Roll Review and Giveaway 4/9 CLOSED

My daughter loves doing art projects.  She absolutely loves to color too.  She wants to bring her coloring stuff with her everywhere.  It can be difficult and it's hard to travel with.  When I found out about the Doodle Roll I knew this was something that would work well for her.

The Doodle Roll is a portable set of crayons and paper.  It comes in a container that is great for on the go.  My daughter is 5 and if I can keep her entertained when we are in the car or in Dr.'s offices it makes things much easier.  The Doodle Roll is small enough to put in a larger purse or backpack.  I like that the paper rolls up and the crayons have a compartment in the plastic container.  This makes it easy to keep everything together.  

The Doodle Roll comes in 2 sizes.  You can choose from the 4 inch or 6 inch.  The 4 inch comes with single sided crayons.  The larger 6 inch has double sized larger crayons.  This is really neat.  My daughter loved these.  

My daughter enjoyed coloring on the Doodle Roll. This is something that I am going to keep in my purse for her.  It is going to be great to have on hand when she's bored.  We have to wait for my son to get out of school and she can often be impatient.  I am going to use this to keep her occupied while we wait for him.

Doodle Roll also has lots of fun doodling ideas on their website.  I am going to try some of these with my kids.  There are ideas on how to make a castle, bracelet, sash, dress, mummy costume, runway, traintrack and more.  You can let your kids to use their imagination to create their own fun with Doodle Roll.  They even have some fun downloads on their website to make some really cute Doodle Cubes.

Honolulu Jewelry Company Plumeria Pendant Review

Honolulu Jewelry Company makes beautiful Hawaiin inspired jewelry.  I love it!  They offer everything from pendants, bracelets, earrings and more.  Everything is so beautiful.  I love that many of the pieces reflect the beauty of Hawaii.  The jewelry is unique.  They offer sea life jewelry, flower jewelry, pearl jewelry and more.     They offer gold and silver jewelry. It would really make a wonderful gift for someone.  They offer many pieces that would make a great gift for Mother's Day too.  

I received the Queen Plumeria Silver Pendant to review.  It is so pretty.  It's made out of high quality silver.  I love how super shiny it is.  I love the plumeria flower and this is a really pretty pendant.  It looks beautiful hanging from a simple silver chain.  The plumeria flower is one that can be found in Hawaii.  It is a beautiful flower and Honolulu Jewelry Company has done an amazing job capturing it's beauty in this pendant.  It's a great pendant to be worn for casual and everyday, but it can also be worn to for dressier occasions too.  I love that the center of the pendant has a cz.  It really makes the pendant sparkle.  This would make a great gift.  Right now this pendant is also on sale.  It normally retails for $85, but can be purchased for $59.50.

Hawaiian jewelry started in the 1800's.  It was said that King Kalakua received a piece of jewelry for the princess when he visited England.  The jewelry symbolized friendship.  The jewelry was loved so much that they wanted more made.  Hawaiian jewelry is still considered a wonderful gift for anyone.  It is an honor to get a piece of jewelry this beautiful.

Dale and Thomas Easter Popcorn Review and Giveaway 4/2 CLOSED

Dale and Thomas is a popcorn company that offers lots of tasty flavors of popcorn.  They have delicous popcorn is a great addition to any holiday.  This is something that would be great to have around for Easter or even to send someone that you can't be with on Easter. It's also great for snacking or a treat.  They offer sweet and savory flavors.  There are so many good flavors that it is hard to pick just one favorite.  My family has tried it before and we love it.  The flavors they offer are unique.  This is more like gourmet popcorn. Dale and Thomas' bags of popcorn are always nice big pieces and loaded with flavor.

I received the Easter 4 bag sampler for review.  The 4 bag sampler is a fun assortment of Dale and Thomas Popcorn.  This delicious assortment comes with 4 sealed bags.  Each bag is enough to serve about 2 to 3 people.  The assortment in this box included the following flavors - Hall of Fame Kettle Corn, White Cheddar and Black Peppercorn, Chocolate Chunk 'N Caramel and Peanut Butter and White Chocolate DrizzleCorn.  They are all good.  I personally really love the White Cheddar and Black Peppercorn if I'm in the mood for something savory.  I also liked the Hall of Fame Kettle CornI'm in the mood for something sweet.  I like that the kettle corn is sweet and a little salty.  It's super fresh and I love the balance of sweet and salty that they've used in this.  It's excellent.  They all had a great flavor and are made with quality ingredients. What flavor would you want to try?

Ghost Pines Wine Review

Ghost Pines wine is unique in that they are made with the combination of great grapes from a variety of different regions in California.  Most wines you find will have grapes that come from one region.  Ghost Pines winemaker has decided to do something a little unique and use the best grapes from different areas.  You can't specifically say that Ghost Pine wine is from a specific region.  They are all a blend.  I think this creates an excellent wine.  They have done things a bit differently than many wineries to create great wines.

Ghost Pines offers 5 varieties of wine - Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, and Red Blend.  I   received the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Red Blend to sample.  I truly enjoyed trying all the varieties.

2009 Ghost Pines Cabernet Sauvignon - This is a full bodied red wine.  It's great with red meat.  It was very smooth.  This wine is made with grapes from Napa County, Lake County and Sonoma County.  It is said to have hints of blackberries and plum.  The Cabernet Sauvignon was excellent.

2009 Ghost Pines Merlot - This is also a full bodied red wine.  We enjoyed this with an Italian meal and it was excellent with it.  The Merlot is made with grapes from both Sonoma County and Napa County.  I thought the Merlot was very smooth too.  This wine is said to have hints of chocolate and coffee in it.

2009 Winemaker's Red Blend - This is a unique wine and it was a pleasure to taste.  It is made with grapes from Sonoma County, Napa County and the San Joaquin County.  I love that it is a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Merlot, Syrah, Zin and more.  It has a unique flavor.  I really enjoyed it.  It was smooth and flavorful.  I think this one was my favorite.

2010 Ghost Pine Chardonnay - This is an excellent dry white wine!  It is made with grapes from Monterey County, Napa and Sonoma.  It's a very flavorful white wine.  It's smooth, but I like that it's very crisp and clean tasting.  This is a more complex and bolder tasting white wine than I'm used too, but I actually loved it.  Which variety would you want to try?

I would recommend any of the Ghost Pines wines.  They were all wonderful and I am so glad I got to taste them.  I am not a wine expert, but I truly do enjoy a great glass of wine.  Ghost Pines wines are unique and I love that they have taken the best from different regions to make amazing wines that are great!  They have been able to create amazing flavors by using wonderful combinations of grapes from many regions.  Most wines come from just one specific region.  You can learn more about Ghost Pines wines from their website.   You can also find out where to locate their wines in your area or you can purchase them online.

WristPix Photo Bracelet Review

Wristpix is a company that makes some really neat bracelets.  They are completely unique and a wonderful personalized gift.  Wristpix are photo bracelets.  You can take your own personal photos and have them made into a really cute bracelet.  I received a sample to see what these look like and they are so fun.  The pictures you choose are placed on wooden beads and then made into a custom bracelet.  Each bead is high quality.  This would made a really nice Mother's Day gift and it would really be something special.

Wristpix uses high quality wood.  They use different woods - maple, ash, walnut.  The process of making the beads and bracelet takes about a week.  If you are ordering for a gift please make sure you account for that, so you can get your bracelet when you want it.  The beads and photos are treated, so that they won't get ruined by water.  The photos then have a really nice high gloss finish.  The end result is a beautiful product.  You can also choose to have your photos landscape or portrait.  The prices for the unique bracelet range from $70 up to $90.

I love the idea of this.  It is such a wonderful idea for a gift for family.  It is a really neat way to turn special photos into something that you will remember forever.  Do you know someone that would love this?
