We love Wet'n Wild!  This is such a fun family friendly place that is great to cool off here in Vegas when it is super hot out!  We went last year and had a blast!  They really have a variety of fun water areas for children of all ages.  Although, Wet'n Wild is always fun for the adults too.  Wet'n Wild always is a name that puts a smile on my face.  I remember coming to visit Vegas as a child, and going to their old location.  Have you been to Wet'n Wild's new location?

Fun and Fashionable Shoes for Children from Fayvel

I am always looking for fun and fashionable clothing and shoe options for my children.  My daughter loves to show off her style.  She sees shoes at the store, and is always wanting a new pair.  I want to introduce  you to Fayvel.  These are shoes that are comfortable, and stylish.  The best part is that your child can express their own style by customizing these to their own liking.  It gets better.  They can change them on a daily basis too!  

Fayvel shoes come in 4 color options.  The sneaker style is really fun because it has a retro kind of style.  The blue and purple are an adorable lace up sneaker.  The green and pink are a velcro closure sneaker.  My daughter loves how comfortable her Fayvel shoes are.  She honestly wants to wear them daily to school.  She has very hard feet to get shoes that fit her perfectly.  We are so excited that Fayvel shoes fit her perfect, and provide her with the support she needs.  She loves them because they are adorable!  I agree!

Spike Seasonings Review #spikeseasoning

Spike Seasonings are actually something I am very familiar with.  I grew up using these.  My mom always had the original Spike in the house.  We would use it on potatoes, eggs, pasta, grilled meats and so much more.  You really are missing out on a good product if you have not tried any of the Spike Seasonings.  How would I describe Spike?  It is a versatile gourmet seasoning blend.  It really adds so much to a variety of foods.  Did you know that Spike was created by a nutritionist and author right in his test kitchen in Sicily?  Pretty neat!

I honestly will not forget the time my sister had a friend over for dinner years ago.  Her friend tried Spike on his baked potato and fell in love with it.  He couldn't stop talking about how great it tasted.  My mom actually sent him home with the bottle because he enjoyed it so much!

These are all great seasonings.  I love that Spike offers a salt free and low sodium varieties.  This is great for people watching their sodium intake.  I also fell in love with the tenderizer variety of Spike.  This is great to use on things like meats before cooking.  It was excellent on steak that I cooked on the grill.  I also really like the Hot 'n Spicy Spike.  This is one of my favorites.  It add lots of flavor, but also a nice amount of heat.  However, it isn't too spicy!  The Lemon Pepper Spike is also a great product.  This is a great seasoning to use on chicken.  It really adds great flavor.  What variety of Spike would you want to try and what would you use it on?

Summer Break is Approaching - What Will Your Children be Reading? Random House Kids Review

I cannot believe that my kids will be on Summer Break before I know it.  We love to spend time outdoors, but I also think making sure your child continues to learn over the break is very important.  We do a number of things, but mostly I make sure that my 8 and 10 year old continue to read throughout the Summer.  Random House Kids offers a great selection of titles that make reading fun for children of all ages.  I received some great books that my children really enjoyed.  These would be great Summer reads for children!

The Pirate Pig

The Pirate Pig is a chapter book written by Cornelia Funke.  She is also a NY Times bestselling author for her Inkheart.  This book will be available for purchase on April 28th.  The book is what I would call an early chapter book.  It isn't took long.  This is great for children that are just starting out reading chapter books.  It makes it less frustrating.  I also like that this book has color illustrations throughout it.  This is a great because it really helps make the book more fun for children.  I have found that it helps my children stay interested in the book.  This book introduces up to Stout Sam and Pip.  They end up finding a barrel washed up on the beach.  Inside the barrel was a pig.  Guess what they called the pig?  They called it Julie.  This was no ordinary pig.  It was a pirate pig.  It could smell out treasure.  There was a problem though.  Barracuda Bill wanted Julie.  He took her away from Stout Sam.  They looked for Julie.  They find their pirate pig, but end up caught.  They end up getting Julie back.  The book is loaded with excitement.  It really keeps you wondering if they really will be able to save Julie from Barracuda Bill.  My 8 year old really enjoyed this book.  The excitement really kept her wanting to read more.

Jack

Jack is a novel written just for kids.  It is the true story of Jack & The Beanstalk.  This book is written by Liesl Shurtliff.  This is her second fairy-tale type book.  The first was RUMP.  RUMP is The True Story of Rumpelstiltskin that was released in 2013.  Jack with be available April 14th.  I have really wanted my 10 year old to read some of the fairy-tale type books.  This is a great way to get your child excited about fairy-tales.  This book is not written in the traditional fairy-tale manner.  It definitely does a great job re-telling the story but it adds humor to the book.  That twist really makes it fun for children to read.  The book starts off by Jack's father vanishing.  Jack is of course told that giants are not real.  However, he doesn't believe what he is told.  Jack sets out to find his father.  He brings along his little sister Annabella.  They trade the family's cow for what?  Of course, magic beans!  This is how they get above the clouds.  What do they find?  They find giants!  This really is a fun twist on the traditional Jack & The Beanstalk story!

MamaSuds - Review

I recently have found that my skin is very sensitive to many harsh skincare products.  I try and find products that have natural ingredients.  I was recently introduced to MamaSuds.  This is a company that uses natural ingredients to make skincare products and household cleaners.  I also like to use products with a natural base when it comes to cleaning and laundry.  I find that this is a good idea because my skin can get irritated from even the laundry soap I use.  

About MamaSuds. . . 

This is a company that was created by a mom.  I love the idea behind the company.  Michelle was looking for natural, safe, and chemical free products for laundry, cleaning, etc.  She was able to create these, but the very best part is that they are not insanely priced!  You can now purchase these great products that Michelle came up with directly from her MamaSuds website.  

Skincare

I received some the MamaSuds Body Wash in the lavender scent.  It smells amazing.  I am a huge fan of lavender.  I found that this body wash is super gentle.  It does a great job cleansing, but not drying out the skin.  I even have my kids use this in the shower.  It is great for their sensitive skin too!  I have found that the body wash goes a long way.  I only need a tiny bit on my bath puff to cleanse my entire body. 

MamaSuds also offers an All Natural Hand Sanitzer.  I immediately fell in love with this product.  I honestly hate the harsh smell of many hand cleaning products.  They can also be super harsh on my hands.  The All Natural Hand Sanitizer is gentle on my hands.  I feel safe about my kids using it to clean their hands too.  It has a light clean smell.  It also is easy to use and you just spray it on your hands.  This product is very versatile too.  It can even be used to clean surfaces.  

MamaSuds offers an all natural and chemical free Bug Spray.  We like to go camping during the year.  I am always looking for a safe bug repellent to use on my family when we are outdoors.  This is it!  This spray is easy to apply.  It actually has a great scent.  That can be shocking when it comes to bug spray products.  The spray contains essential oils and actually smells amazing!  It has a nice clean scent.

Cleaning

Michelle from MamaSuds was so amazing and sent me a huge 128 oz. container of her Organic Sweet Orange Laundry Soap.  I love how this smells.  It makes my clothes have a nice clean scent, but they don't smell overly perfumed.  It also does a great job cleaning my clothes.  My kids tend to get their clothes pretty dirty.  My husband's work clothes are filthy when he gets home from work.  He is a machinist, so his clothes are covered in dirt and oil  The laundry soap is all natural and chemical free.  It only takes 1/4 cup of the laundry soap to wash a load.  You can use a 1/2 cup if the clothes are really dirty.  The price for the 128 oz. bottle of laundry soap starts at $13.85.  I think that is really reasonable.  You can choose to have fragrance added to your soap.  This is only 50 to 75 cents more.
