Kidobi - Educational Media Viewer for Kids

My kids always want to watch videos on the internet.  I am very strict about this and I only allow them to watch when I am sitting with them.  I will be honest and I find it too easy for them to click on videos that might not be appropriate for them.  I only allow them to watch stuff on children's sites and I really like when the material they are watching is educational.  This can be a challenge and I sometimes find myself searching for good content for them to watch.  Do you have a good website that you use for children's video content?  

Kidobi is a great website geared just for kids!  This is so exciting for me because I am a parent of 2 children.  I can now feel safe about them viewing videos online when they are using Kidobi.  The media on Kidobi is all educational too.  Yippie!  I really can feel good about them enjoying what they are watching because I know it is quality material.

Kidobi is really easy to set up too.  I set up my daughter's account and it allows them to even pick their very own avatar.  My daughter chose the little ladybug.  The next step is to answer some simple questions about your child's likes.  My daughter put a few things in this area.  She loves cats, cooking, math, science and reading.  I was able to put all of these in, so that the videos that it found for her would be related to these items.  

My daughter loved the videos that showed up in her playlist after we put in what her interests are.  Pretty cool!  The Kidobi website is easy to use and my children love it.  You can create playlists for your child very easily.  You can also use the playlist wizard and find more great content.  I love that you can also add items to your child's favorites and then they can go back and watch them again.  You can even adjust the settings and this personalizes the content that your child can access just for them.
