Del Real Foods Party in a Box Review and #Giveaway 9/10 CLOSED

Disclosure - free sample provided.

I love really good Mexican food.  It can be time consuming to make at home too.  I want to be honest.  It can be hard to find really good Mexican food that is pre-made.  I want to introduce you to Del Real Foods.  They are a company that offers pre-made Mexican food that is made with their own family traditions.  The Mexican food products that they offer are made with excellent quality ingredients.  The proof to this is definitely in the taste.  Del Real Foods is a California based company.  I was really impressed to find out that the Cardenas family is also very involved in what goes on at Del Real foods.

I received a wonderful sampler of food from Del Real Foods.  I first tried the tamales.  I  am a huge fan of tamales, but these are some of the best that I have ever had.  I love that the filling reaches from one end to the other.  The masa is moist and tender.  The tamales are super flavorful too.  I received pork tamales and some green chili and cheese.  They were both very good!

I also received a few varieties of different types of cooked Mexican style meats.  I love these.  I first want to say that these are the perfect solution to a quick weeknight meal.  These are easy to heat up too.  The authentic meats come in a pouch that you heat in the microwave.  We loved the Pollo Asado.  We used one night to make chicken tacos after a day at the pool.  It was so quick and easy and delicious.  I also received some delicious carnitas meat.  This is a crispy pork that is great for tacos and burritos too.  I loved the pork in a chile verde sauce.  This is flavorful and perfect for enchiladas.  How would you serve it?

Del Real Foods also sent me some amazing papusas.  I have never had these prior, but they are so good.  These are kind of like a corn tortilla that has been filled.  The ones I received were filled with cheese.  They were so good.  Del Real also makes really good side dishes too.  My daughter loved the Mexican style Arroz.  This rice is seasoned perfectly and so easy to cook!  It is a hot and quick side dish.  They also offer really good salsas.  I loved Salsa de Molcajete Roja.  This salsa has so much flavor from the roasted peppers.

Del Real Foods also has some wonderful recipe ideas that you can check out below.  These are some wonderful ideas for their products.

  22. I would most like to try their Carnitas Fried Pork. But as much as I would love to try many of their products, even more so I hope to win this for my spicy food loving young adult daughter Amanda and her long time live in boyfriend John. John is Cuban and has an especially strong taste for these types of flavorful foods, the spicier the better for him, I think. : ) and Amanda loves them and loves to cook them for him too. They had to move across the country from us and we are very close knit and miss them so much and it would tickle my heart to win this as a thinking of you gift to have sent to them.

Thank you to blogger and sponsor for this giveaway opportunity.
