American Whiskey by Noah Rothbaum Review

Disclosure - free sample provided.

I am always looking for interesting books to add to my collection at home.  I fell in love with American Whiskey by Noah Rothbaum.  This is a really neat book that is loaded with info on American Whiskey.  The book is a great book for a coffee table too.  This book was something that my husband found super interesting too.  It would make an excellent gift for any whiskey lover!   I love how the book is put together.  It really is beautifully done.  The pictures that are included are excellent.  I really enjoyed looking at all of the neat whiskey labels from bottles.

This book includes the history of whiskey.  If you are a fan of whiskey then it is very interesting.  The book talks about over 100 different iconic whiskey labels.  The book begins with whiskey from the late 1800's and early 1900's.  The book also has an entire chapter that is dedicated to prohibition.  There are even photos from the time included in this chapter.  I found it very interesting to look at these.  There is another chapter about life after temperance.  The book includes information about whiskey during wartime too.  I was intrigued by the cocktail recipes that the author included that went along with specific times.  The book then continues on to the history of whiskey in the 60's.
The most interesting chapter in this book is chapter 7.  This chapter is all about whiskey current day.  This discusses all the varieties of whiskey that we currently have.  It also touches on designer spirits.

This is just some of the great information that you will find in this interesting book.
