Don Pantaleon Tequila Review

I love a margarita every once in awhile, but it has to be made with good tequila.  Tonight I made a margarita with Don Pantaleon Tequila  and it was excellent.  Don Pantaleon Tequila is a a really good tequila.  I really like that it tastes excellent, but it isn't extremely expensive.  The price actually amazed me when I found out how reasonable it is.  It retails for $12.89 a liter.  There are many good tequilas out there, but many of them are pretty pricey.  Don Pantaleon is made in Mexico.  It tastes very authentic to me.  My husband and I have actually traveled to Mexico a number of times.  I felt that this tequila tasted more similar to what we would drink while we were there.  The tequila is very smooth and doesn't have that harsh taste to it.  I sampled it straight and it was very good.  It was also very good in a mixed drink.  How would you try it?  Don Pantaleon is made with almost 100% agave.  Don Pantaleon is still pretty new and I'm hoping it becomes readily available because it's a great value and great tequila.  You can learn more by visiting their website or becoming a fan on their Facebook page.

Clique Vodka Review

Clique Vodka is a unique vodka.  This vodka comes from Latvia.  Many types of vodka come from  various regions in Europe.  Clique Vodka is doing something that is completely new.  They say they are not a "senior citizen" brand.  They are trying to connect with the generation of today!  Clique is fun, hip and new!  It's distilled with Russian Standards.  It has all the taste and flavor of an excellent vodka, but it's much more fun!

I tried Clique Vodka by itself and it has a really smooth taste.  The flavor is excellent.  It's also great for mixing.  I tried it in a mudslide and it was really good that way too!  How would you drink your Clique Vodka?

If you love fun drinks then make sure you check out the great recipes on Clique's website.  I am really interested in trying out the mixed drink recipe they have called a "Ginger Crusta."  I love ginger and it sounds like it would be really good.  It is a combination of ginger root, Clique Vodka, sugar and lemons!  Yum!  They also have a recipe called a "Pickletini!"  This is something I will have to try too!

Clique is currently available in PA, OH, WV and TN.  However, it is coming to more states soon!  I am excited because it's going to also be available in NV, CA, AZ, FL, GA, SC, NC, VA, DE and NJ.

You can also connect with Clique Vodka on Facebook and Twitter!

Sandra Boynton Coffee Review and $43.80 coffee Giveaway 3/9 CLOSED

I am a big fan of coffee!  I love good coffee.  I have to have my couple of cups of coffee in the morning to get going.  My day isn't the same without coffee.

I recently came across Winchell Mountain coffee and was excited to try out their Sandra Boynton Collection coffees.  They actually take the phrase "Mom Needs Coffee" very seriously.  They offer a large selection in this line and they all look really good!  They are right by saying that their coffee tastes as good as it looks.  The packaging on these is absolutely adorable!  I like that they offer all of their coffees in a ground or whole bean form.  Some people are very particular on that and it allows you to make the choice.  I personally chose the ground because my grinder is acting up lately.

I received the Wide Awake Coffee from the Winchell Mountain Sandra Boynton Collection.  This is a bold and zesty premium blend of coffee.  It has a great robust flavor and I really enjoyed it.  It has an excellent flavor.  It comes in a 12oz. size bag and can be purchased from their website for $10.95.  I love the packaging.  It's really cute.

I also received some Country Morning Coffee from the Winchell Mountain Sandra Boynton Collection.  This coffee is also packaged so cute.  I love the picture on this one too.  It also comes in a 12oz. size bag.  It's a great tasting coffee and I've been enjoying it in the morning with my breakfast.  This variety can also be purchased right from their website.

Lastly, I'm going to talk about the Beach Blend Coffee from the Winchell Mountain Sandra Boynton Collection.  This coffee is a little more unique.  It's a mellow moca java.  It has mellow hints of chocolate in it. It's really good.  My husband and I enjoyed it.  We drink coffee in the evening and love this one for that.  The packaging is super cute on this one too.  It also retails for $10.95 on their website for a 12oz. bag.

Do you know a coffee lover?  These would make a great gift.

You can purchase the Winchell Mountain - Sandra Boynton Collection at cafes, markets and directly from their website.

Baja Bob's Sugar Free Cocktail Mixes Review

I like to enjoy a cocktail sometimes, but it's really hard to find something that tastes good and isn't too high in calories.  If you've tried some of the super low calorie beers they aren't very good.  They taste like water to me. I've been looking around for other drink alternatives that aren't packed with calories and came across Baja Bob's.

Baja Bob's has come up with a really neat idea.  They offer sugar free cocktail  mixes that taste good!  I am sometimes skeptical about sugar free products, but I was impressed at how good these taste!  I hate when sugar free drinks have an aftertaste and these did not.  I was pleased.

Baja Bob's offers their mixes in bottles and single serve packets.  I think that the packets are really a unique idea.  I haven't seen anything like this.  This is a single serve powdered packet.  It's the perfect pre-measured amount for a single drink.  I like this because sometimes I just want to make one drink and not a huge pitcher.  I sampled the Mudslide, Margarita and the Mango Margarita varieties.  They all had a good flavor and I couldn't even tell they were sugar free.  The mixes are really easy to make.  You add the amount of water and alcohol that it tells you to add on the package.  Then you add ice or you can blend it with ice.  I like mine on ice the best.  My favorite flavor out of these was the Mango Margarita.  Baja Bob's single serve drink mixes are a great idea for bbq's or even camping.  I also like that you don't have to store a bottle of liquid drink mix somewhere.  They can be purchased from their website for $4.49 for a box that has 10 single serve packets in it.
