Krema Peanut Butter Review

Krema is an all natural peanut butter that is delicious.  Krema is very different from your average peanut butter you would buy from the grocery store.  It is natural, so you will have to stir it.  It is not difficult to stir either.  It mixes together easily.    It is made with just peanuts!  It has nothing else added to it.  You really can tell the difference because it has an amazing taste.  I will tell you not to expect it to be sweet like many peanut butters.  I would suggest adding some honey or use jam with it if you want it sweeter.  I personally ate it on top of an English muffin and drizzled a tiny bit of honey on it too.  It comes in two varieties.  They offer a smooth and creamy type along with crunchy.  I like them both.  My son loved the creamy kind.  Krema uses high quality ingredients.  They use the best peanuts out there that come from Georgia.  It shows in the taste of the peanut butter.  It has no extra salt, hydrogenated oil or sugar added to it.

I loved the taste of Krema peanut butter!  It has a pure taste that I love.  It is a product that I feel good about giving my family.  My son eats peanut butter sandwiches a few times a week and this is great for that.  I like that the Krema peanut butter is so creamy that it is still spreadable after being in the fridge.

Krema also has a really neat section with recipes on their website.  I love incorporating peanut butter into baking and cooking.  They even have a recipe for Yummy Dog Treats!  Very neat.

Krema peanut butter is available in the Midwest and they also offer a brand on the East Coast called Crazy Richards.  Crazy Richards is the exact same peanut butter, but it has a different name.  If you can't find this wonderful peanut butter in your area there is always an option to purchase it from their website.

You can also connect with Krema on Facebook and Twitter.

GoPicnic is a great product that comes in a box that can go with you anywhere.  GoPicnic is a cute little Snack/Meal for when you're on the go.  The best part about these is that they need no refrigeration.  They offer a nice selection of meals for all different tastes.  GoPicnic offers the following . . .

We sampled the Turkey Pepperoni and Cheese and really liked it.  Everything was really delicious in it.  The best part was it was so easy.  No prep!  I am going to have to keep some of these around as a simple and healthy lunch for my son to take to school.

We also sampled the Turkey Stick and Crunch.  My daughter tried this one out and gobbled it up.  I love that it's fun for her to eat, but also healthy too!

Ciao Bella Gelato Review and Giveaway 3/7 CLOSED

Ciao Bella offers a huge assortment of Gelato, Sorbet and other delicious frozen treats.  I went to the store this morning to pick some up.  My son was with me and I let him choose the flavor.  They all sounded really good.  He ended up picking the Blood Orange Sorbet.  I am a huge fan of blood oranges.  My grandma and grandpa used to have them growing in their backyard.  I used to eat them all the time when I'd go over to visit them.  If you aren't familiar with blood oranges they are a juicy red orange that has an amazing flavor.  Ciao Bella's Blood Orange Sorbet is excellent.  It has the flavor of Sicilian blood oranges.  It's both a little sweet and a little tart.  It's very refreshing.  I love that it's a nice light treat.  This would be great after a meal.  It's delicious!

Ciao Bella also makes sorbet in Peach Ginger, Mango, Lemon Zest, Dark Chocolate and many more.  They also make gelato in flavors like - Chocolate Jalepeno, Matcha Green Tea, Mint Leaf Chip, Peppermint Crunch, Ginger and many more too.  They all sound really good.  They also offer bars.  I like this for my kid's because it's a more portable way for them to eat their treat!  What variety would you want to try?

Monterey Gourmet Foods Review

I love good Italian food and pasta.  Monterey Gourmet Foods offers a delicious assortment of stuffed ravioli.  They come in Fire Roasted Mushroom and Four Cheese, Butternut Squash, Creamy Ricotta Florentine, Smoked Mozzarella and Artichoke, Roasted Chicken and Mozzarella, Tomato Basil and Mozzarella, Shrimp and North Atlantic Lobster and Artichoke and Colby Jack.

All of the varieties sound really good, but I sampled the Fire Roasted Mushroom and Four Cheese, Butternut Squash and Creamy Ricotta Florentine.  We also tried the Hearty Garden Marinara Sauce with them.  My favorite variety was the Fire Roasted Mushroom and Four Cheese.  It had such a wonderful mushroom flavor.  My husband loved the Creamy Ricotta Florentine Ravioli.  We both thought all the varieties were really good.  The Butternut Squash is very different, but it's also excellent.  The dough it's made with is orange and sage flavored.  I liked the Hearty Garden Marinara Sauce on the Creamy Ricotta Florentine Ravioli.  I actually liked the Fire Roasted Mushroom and Four Cheese and Butternut Squash with a little bit of butter on them instead of sauce.

What variety would you want to try?

What I liked best?  This is a really good pasta that is available in the refrigerator section.  It tastes different than most pasta that comes in the refrigerator section.  The filling in the ravioli is amazing.  You really can tell that they are made with high quality ingredients.  I really like that they use natural ingredients in their products.    I like that it's stuffed with high quality ingredients and they don't skimp on it.  The dough that these are made out of is tender.  Many refrigerator pastas can be rubbery and this was not.  It's the best I've had!  I like that it is simple to make for a quick meal.  It was so easy to boil for 4 to 5 minutes and then it was done.  I would recommend Monterey Gourmet Food's pasta products and sauces.

Just Buns Bakery's - Swirly Buns Review

Just Buns Specialty Bakery is the home of the original swirly bun.  I hadn't heard of swirly buns before I found Just Buns.  I'm out on the west coast and in all my life I haven't had anything like this before.  These treats come from an amazing bakery in New York.  You can get them shipped to you too!  You can get your very own swirly buns from their website for $22 for 12 of them.  They are really worth it.  They ship these nationwide too!    These are so unique.  They are super light and fluffy.  They are completely different than a cinnamon bun or sticky bun.  They are in a category by themselves.  If I could describe this wonderful treat I would have to say it's more of a cross between a danish and a cinnamon roll.  However, these tasty treats come in more exciting flavors than just cinnamon.  I was amazed when I found out how many yummy flavors they offer.  They offer a few packages that include some great groupings of flavors.  I sampled a few of their flavors.  I personally loved all of them.  It is really hard to pick a favorite.  My son loved the Cinnamon and Brown Sugar flavor.  I brought him one when I picked him up from school and he was in heaven.  My favorite was the Chocolate Raspberry!  This was so good!  I warmed mine in the microwave for a few seconds.  The chocolate was so gooey and delicious!  The Almond flavor and Nutella Flavor was also really good!  They come in lots of more flavors.  Some of them are Cherry, Toffee, Apple or Butterscotch and Chocolate Marshmallow!  Yum!

If you want to order swirly buns you can also freeze these if you won't be able to eat all 12 quickly.  They freeze well and will stay well in the freezer for 3 months.

You can also connect with Just Buns on Facebook and Twitter!

Lawash Flatbread Review

We eat a lot of flatbread in our house, so when I found out about Lawash Flatbread I knew it would be a big hit.   Lawash is unique in that it is about the thickness of a tortilla, but the texture is different.  It's a little bit more chewy.  I found out that it's made with a high protein flour.  This allows is to bend better.  It's great for wraps, burritos or my son and daughter just like to eat them plain.

Lawash is offered in two different sizes.  They offer 10 inch that come with 6 in a package and 12 inch that come with 5 in a package.  They also offer a few different flavors.  They come in white, garden spinach, lower carb white, lower carb wheat, wheat and sun dried tomato.  My favorite is the garden spinach.  My daughter loves it too.  It has really good flavor.  They were all really good.  I like the low carb varieties too.  My son's favorite is the white.

Last night I allowed my kids to put their own dinner together with Lawash.  I put out a bunch of fun ingredients for them to choose from.  My daughter chose a garden spinach Lawash and made a wrap.  My son picked a white Lawash and wanted me to make him a quesadilla out of it.  They really enjoyed their meal with the Lawash flatbread.  It was also fun for them.

There are so many things you can do with these.  You can even make a breakfast burrito with one!  They even have recipe ideas on their website.  I definitely will be trying out a flatbread pizza made with a sun dried tomato Lawash.  How would you eat Lawash bread?

You can purchase  your own Lawash flatbread right from their website!

Penna Gourmet Olives and Dips Review

I found out about greatolives.com and have been really excited to try their Penna Olives and Dips.  Penna Olives are a little bit different than your normal green olive.  Everything in the process of making them is done at the farm in California.  I would call them experts at what they are doing!  Maurice and Cindy Penna are the owners and they are super passionate about what they do.

I received 2 products to try!  We love olives, so I was thrilled.

The first product I'm going to talk about is Penna's Parmesan-Asiago Spread.  It is so good!  This can be used as a dip  for veggies, crackers or anything you can think of.  I used it on a flatbread cracker and loved it.  It's made with amazing ingredients.  It's got so much cheese flavor in it.  It's a combination of parmesan, asiago, olive oil and spices.  There is a touch of heat to it too.  You can purchase your own jar right from their website for $9.95.

I also enjoyed sampling the Sicilian Spiced Pitted Olives.  These were delicious.  They have an amazing flavor!  They are not too salty, but I love that they have a tiny bit of heat to them.  These are some of the best olives I have ever had.  You can purchase your own from their website for $3.95 a jar.  They also have a variety of other types of Penna Olives.  Some of the varieties include Lemon Citrus, Deep Garlic and more.  They all sound really good.

They also offer Penna olive oil, olive mixes, stuffed olives, gift boxes, dried olives and much more for the olive lover.  The gift boxes would be perfect for a gift if you know someone that loves olives.

You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter to learn more about their wonderful olive products!

Mohawk Valley Trading Company Wildflower Honey Review

You probably saw my review for the Raw Honey from Mohawk Valley Trading Company and now I'm going to talk about their Summer Wildflower Honey!  Their Summer Wildflower honey is also amazing.  It is so fresh tasting.  It is also some of the best honey I have had.  My kid's once again tasted this one right off a spoon.  I did too.  I really wanted to see what the straight honey tasted like all by itself.  The Wildflower Honey has a really nice sweet flavor that is mild tasting.  We all loved it.  My son can't wait to have a peanut butter and honey sandwich in his lunch tomorrow!  The Wildflower Honey is going to be great for that!   I would recommend this honey - especially if you love high quality products.  It's also been recommended by top chef Tom Coliccho!  Their raw honey is available in 5 great varieties.

They all sound really good!  I think the Orange Blossom Honey sounds very interesting!  Which variety would you want to try?

Honey can be used as a way to treat allergies!  It's also a great natural cough medication!

Mohawk Valley Trading Company Raw Honey Review

The Mohawk Valley Trading Company offers excellent quality honey that is completely organic.  This is really amazing honey!  This is a wonderful raw honey that I recommend!  This is one that honey lovers should try.  The type I received is a Raw Maine Wild Blueberry Blossom Summer Wildfower Honey.  This Blueberry Blossom Honey is so good!  My kid's seem to think you're supposed to eat honey right off a spoon.  I was giving them honey this way because we use it for allergies.  We had tried everything and honey seemed to help them.  We also loved the Raw Honey on toast with peanut butter.  I think it's delicious no matter how you use it.  I know we'll be using it in tea and on our pancakes.  We love honey on our pancakes.  The flavor of this honey is so good.  It has a little bit of a floral flavor.  I love that it is raw!  This  Raw Honey  is not processed at all.  It is never heated or blended.  It is the real thing and you can really taste that when you eat it.  Mohawk Valley Trading Company products have been endorsed by great chefs.  Bobby Flay endorses their maple syrup!  This honey retails for $10 for a 1 lb. jar.   What would you use this in?

Mohawk Valley Trading Company offers 5 varieties of Honey!  They all sound really good to me. Buckwheat HoneyWildflower HoneyApple Blossom HoneyOrange Blossom Honey and Blueberry Blossom Honey.

Ghiradelli Milk & Truffle Chocolate Squares Review

I received a bag of the Ghiradelli Milk & Truffle Chocolate Squares in the mail yesterday to review.  It was actually the perfect day for them to arrive because it was Valentine's Day.  I have tried many of the other Ghiradelli products, but these were new to me.

What did I think?  They are really good!  I like that they are wrapped individually.  It is a great size for a small little treat.  It's just the right amount of chocolate for me without going overboard.  I like that the milk chocolate isn't too sweet.  I also like that the squares have a smooth chocolate filling.  It's really good and creamy.  They are delicious!

They are also offered in other flavors and I'm interested in trying those too.  They come in a Dark Chocolate variety and a Twilight Truffle that sounds really interesting to me.  They also have Milk Caramel, Mint, Raspberry and Luxe Milk Almond varieties.  They all sound good!

Disclosure - I received a free bag of Ghiradelli Milk and Truffle Squares and cents off coupons from Ghiradelli and SheSpeaks to facilitate my review.  No monetary compensation was provided.  All opinions are completely my own as always.

Nature's Path Review

I was sent an assortment of delicious products to try from Nature's Path.  They offer a large assortment of organic food products that are really good.  They carry items like cereal, granola, bars, baking mixes and more.  I received some cereal, bars and granola.

I am going to start out with the Love Crunch because it is my favorite.  This is premium organic granola.  I sampled the dark chocolate and red berries flavor.  It is really good.  It's crunchy and has a great texture.  I love the chunks of dark chocolate in it.  You can never go wrong with dark chocolate in my opinion.  It also has dried red berries in it.  It's a really good combination and it has a great flavor.  I was happy when I tasted it because it wasn't too sweet.  It's also low in calories.  It has 140 calories per serving.  This is a great for breakfast with milk or we like topping our yogurt with Love Crunch!  Love Crunch retails for $4.95 a bag on the Nature's Path website.

I also sampled the Trail Mix Pumpkin-N-Spice granola bars and the Yogurt Lotta' Apricotta granola bars.  These were both really good.  I like that both of the granola bars have a nice chewy texture.  I enjoyed the whole pumpkin seeds in the Pumpkin-N-Spice flavor.  The Lotta' Apricotta was a great flavor combination of apricots, almonds and coconut.  They aren't too sweet either.  These are great to put in lunches, eat for a breakfast or a snack.  They also offer these in many other flavors that include - Berry Strawberry, Peanut Buddy and more.

My daughter had to open the Evirokidz Organic Gorilla Munch Cereal.  She really liked it.  This makes a great healthy breakfast.  I tasted it too and it had a lightly sweetened taste and I liked that it was nice and crunchy.  I will say that I couldn't tell that it's gluten free.  I have tasted some gluten free products and you can tell they are gluten free.  This is one that I wouldn't even know unless I was told.  This is going to be a quick breakfast for us during the week.

The Crunchy Vanilla Sunrise is a great breakfast cereal too!  It is also gluten free.  This is another one that I was surprised to find out it was gluten free.  I love that it has different textures in it.  It's a combination of corn rice flax, quinoa and more.  I really like the vanilla flavor it has.  This cereal is lightly sweetened.  I would recommend this for a healthy breakfast.  I also like that it's only 110 calories per serving and it's low in fat.

You can connect with Nature's Path on Facebook and Twitter.

Disclosure - I received samples of the above mentioned products to facilitate my review.  All opinions are completely my own.  No monetary compensation was provided.
