I am always looking for ways to stay healthy and keep weight off.  I really struggled for a few years after having kids to lose weight.  I still have a hard time making the right food choices on some days.  I find it really hard when you have kids and you realize you can't eat what they eat. 

I found out about the Zone Diet and was really excited to try it.  The Zone Standard Program is a great way to help you control your diet.  I found that the packaged items made it easy to replace things like normal bread and bagels.  The program includes items that taste good and are easy to use in your meal prep.  A few of my favorites were the soft pretzels and the bagels.  You don't feel like you are being deprived at all.  I love that all the items from the Zone Diet keep you feeling full.  It makes it really easy to watch what you're eating.  The program I received included bagels, bread, pizza crust, pasta, bars, oh and I can't forget the cookies.  I really liked the cookies!  You are probably thinking that these are full of carbs, but they have actually used special technology to enrich these with lots of protein.  It really helps keep you full and they've also removed excess carbs.  This program retails for $74.50 and can be purchased from their website. 

The best part about the Zone Diet is that you have a lot of choices.  I don't like to feel like I have a set thing I have to eat just because I'm dieting.  I like that I can have pizza!  I used one of the pizza crusts and loaded it up with lots of veggies and it was really good.  I didn't feel like I was dieting at all.  That is one thing I really love.  I personally put the items in my freezer.  It is suggested to freeze or refrigerate the bread products.  I like that I can pull them out as I need them and they still taste just as good.

Lovable Labels - Friendship Pack Review

Loveable Labels out by a mom who was looking for a way to label items that she sent her child to daycare with.  She wanted to create something that was durable and could handle the wear and tear of normal kid activity. 

I am not a new to Lovable Labels.  I use them on my son's items when I send him to school.  I find that Lovable Labels stay put!  They make it easy for my son to keep track of his items at school.  We use them on his water bottle, notebooks, backpacks, coats, lunchboxes and anything else that needs to be kept track of.  I have found that they last a really long time. 

I recently received a Friendship Pack and I love this idea.  You get a set of 120 labels, but you get an additional 40 slimline labels for a friend.  You can get the additional ones for anyone you want - a sibling or friend.  The 120 labels you get will include - 40 sticker labels, 80 slimline labels and 10 fun stickers.  The Friendship Pack retails for $24.95.  The best part about Lovable Labels are that they are very durable.  My son has actually had some on his items since the start of the year and they haven't moved and haven't worn out either!  They really last.  I love that they are dishwasher safe, microwave safe, waterproof and uv resistant.  There is no fancy way that you have to apply these either.  You just stick them on.  It's very simple.  I really like that there is a large selection of cute little graphics you can choose from.  The little ladybug below is just one of the choices.  The Friendship Pack comes in two color choices.  They come in 2 color options - Bedazzled and Majestic.  The Bedazzled is the girly colors.  The Friendship Pack is a limited time offer.  What color choice would you pick?

Venomous Cosmetics Review

I received some awesome samples from Venomous Cosmetics and had so much fun trying them out!  I love makeup and trying fun new things with it, so I was sure this was going to be a blast.  Venomous Cosmetics offers a large assortment of really great pressed eye shadows, pressed eye shadows, lip glosses, and liners.  They come in the most amazing colors. 

I loved the lip poison.  The colors you will see below are Hypnotize and Lava Pink.  They go on great and they don't feel sticky and gooey when they're on.  I love that they have great shine and a bit of shimmer too.  My favorite is the Lava Pink!  The Venomous Lip Poisons retail for $6 each (which is really reasonable in my opinon.)

I also tried the eye shadows from Venomous Cosmetics.  I had the opportunity to try the pressed shadow and the loose.  I like both varieties.  I love all the amazing colors that are offered.  The pressed seems to give a more intense look.  Both of them went on easily and lasted long.  I've shown some of the fun looks I created below.  The loose powder shadows retail for $6.50 each and the pressed are $5.50 each.  I had a lot of fun with all of the shadows I tried.

Vivobarefoot Shoes from the Nature Shop Review

My son was super excited when his new shoes arrived for him to try out.  He tried on his Vivobarefoot Neo shoes and didn't want to take them off.  They are a crosstrainers that are super comfy.  My son said that he liked that the shoes felt really light on his feet.  I actually can't believe how light they feel compared to his other tennis shoes.  The sole actually feels very flexible.  I think they are really cute for adults or kids.  My almost 7 year old thought the design of the foot was really neat on the bottom too.  I like that there is a removable insert on the inside of the shoe that allows the shoe to grow a little bit.  If you decide to purchase a pair make sure you convert your size from UK to US.  They do ship from the UK too.  I actually got them very quick!   My son wore them to school today to show off to all his friends.  The pair shown above retails for $60 from the Nature Shop.  This is a really good deal.  They are actually on sale right now and are normally priced at $75.  The Nature Shop offers a large selection of great shoes for children as well as adults.   The Vivobarefoot come in adults as well as kids sizes.

What is are Vivobarfoot shoes?  They have super thin soles.  They are supposed to feel similar to walking barefoot.  The sole of the shoe is thin, but it still provides plenty of protection to your feet.  The whole idea behind it is that it provides you with maximum sensory perception.  You can feel what is under you.  Pretty neat!

Get a great manicure in minutes with Dazzle Dry! Review

Within the last year I have stopped biting my nails.  I know it's a horrible habit and I'm glad I've stopped.  I now have to keep polish on them almost all of the time otherwise I am tempted to bite them again.  Well if you are a mom - you definitely know that as soon as you go to paint your nails that is when you're kids need you to do something.  Most of the time right after I've done mine I end up dinging them up and they are messed up shortly after I just painted them.  I also have tried that oil that you put a drop of on each nail.  Well it does dry the surface a little bit, but then they are still gooey underneath.

I found out about the Dazzle Dry Nail System and first thought that this was definitely something I needed to try.  I love the idea that it dries your nails in 5 minutes.  I put it to the test yesterday and was very satisfied.  It is super easy too.  I like that it isn't a bunch of complicated steps.

• Use a cotton ball and apply the Dazzle Dry Nail Prep
• Apply the Base coat - let it sit 1-2 minutes
• Apply the Lacquer
• Apply the Top Coat

It was super easy to do.  I actually did my nails and my daughter's in about 10 minutes.  I love that it dries hard as a rock and doesn't leave your nails tacky feeling.  My daughter can barely sit still long enough to have her nails painted.  She always wants them painted and I will tell you this is wonderful.  She can have them painted and then they dry in 5 minutes.  She used to get so upset before when she would ask me to paint her nails and then mess them up right after.

I really like that there is no special equipment needed with the Dazzle Dry Nail System.   You don't need a UV lamp to do this yourself!  I was really happy with how super shiny my nails came out.  You can also do this without the color and just use the prep, base and top coat for a natural look.  Dazzle Dry offers a huge selection of colors.  I received the Passionate Red color lacquer.  What color do you like?
