Simply Clean Hand Sanitizer Review

I am one of those moms that it really concerned about my kids cleaning their hands before they eat.  I even send them to school with a small bottle of hand sanitizer in their backpacks.  I ask them to clean their hands before they eat a snack or lunch.  I just like the fact that this way they can try and avoid getting sick, if possible.

I want to introduce you to some really neat new hand sanitizers that will be available at Walgreens in September.  These are perfect to keep on you during the flu season.  They are great for purses or backpacks.  My kids love that the packaging on these are really cute too.  These come in fun little bottles shaped like ducks, owls, ladybugs, and frogs.  This helps make hand sanitizing fun!

These containers are 2 oz.  The hand sanitizer makes my hands feel very clean after using it.  It leaves my hands with a nice light fragrance too.  The Simply Clean hand cleaner kills 99.99% of germs.  This makes me feel great about sending my kids to school with it in their backpack.  These are a high quality product, but the price is reasonable.  They only retail for $2 each!

I fell in love with a website that offers fashionable clothes.  I have done reviews for 24/7 Frenzy products before.  Their clothing is fun and very stylish.  They not only offer quality clothing, but also accessories too.  They have regular sizes and plus sizes too.  They have tops, bottoms, swimwear, intimates and more.  They are more than just an online boutique.  They pride themselves in great customer service too.  I truly find that important.  

I always have a fun time browsing the new fashions that 24/7 Frenzy offers.  This time I fell in love with so many items.  I received a relaxed fit floral print top.  This top is really cute.  I love to use it for a layered look.  It looks really cute with a tank under it.  The top is a pretty light mint green color.  It is really soft and comfortable material too.  The top has a really pretty print on the font of it too.  I love the combination of the black, silver and white design.  This top is great with jeans, but it also looks great with a skirt too.  What would you wear it with?  This top is available from 24/7 frenzy for $49.99.  The normal retail price of the shirt is $65.

North Bay Trading Co. Freeze Dried Fruit Review

North Bay Trading Co. offers a wonderful selection of healthy food items.  The products that they offer are very high quality too.  They pride themselves in having amazing food safety.  Their products are GMO free too.  There are no additives to their foods either.  Their products are natural and healthy.  They offer a great number of products that are prefect for healthy snacks and meals.

North Bay Trading Co. has wild rice, dried fruit, beans, soup mixes and more.  They offer a variety of items that make eating healthy easy.  Their products are perfect for stocking up on if you want to fill you pantry with delicious products that help make cooking quality meals easy.  

I received a sampler box of dried fruit from North Bay Trading Co.  This is not your typical dehydrated fruit.  North Bay Trading Co.'s fruit is freeze dried.  This gives the fruit a completely different texture.  My family loves it.  The fruit ends up light and crunchy.  The fruit still holds onto it's amazing flavor though.  They offer a number of different kinds of freeze dried fruit.  The box I received included peaches, sliced strawberries, bananas, mango strips, and a triple berry blend.  Our favorite is the triple berry blend.  This is perfect for healthy snacking.  I love using it for school snacks or in lunchboxes too.

Learning Resources - Ten-Frame Treasures Review and Giveaway 9/25 CLOSED

Learning Resources is a great website to get learning materials for your kids.  It's great for parents and teachers.  They offer so many fun items to make learning an interactive experience.  The website is helpful too because it helps you find materials that are perfect for the stage that your child is at educationally.  They offer products for math, reading, science and more.  

I received a game that helps your child visualize math concepts.  The Ten-Frame Treasures game from Learning Resources is perfect to help your child understand simple math problems.  This game is suggested for children 5 years of age and up.  I even see that it could be used for children as young as pre-school age.  The game is fun and helps your child figure out basic addition problems.

My 6 and 8 year old thought the Ten-Frame Treasures game was so cute.  They love that everything is in a cute treasure chest.  The game is made to be played with up to 4 players.  This would even be a great small group activity if you are a teacher.  Each board has 10 spots to place the coins that are in the treasure chest.  You simply give the child a basic math problem (with the answer going up to 10).  You can give your child a math problem like 5 + 2.  The goal is to have your child figure it out with the coins.  So your child would take 5 coins and then another 2 to get the answer of 7.  The Ten-Frame Treasures game allows your child to count to get the answer easily.

SmartMax Magnetic Toys

I am always looking for quality toys that will entertain my kids.  I'm not talking about something that they will like to play with either for just 15 minutes.  SmartMax offers a selection of toys that your kids will play with for hours.  Their toys are magnetic.  The products they offer are fun, but because they are magnetic they are fascinating.  

SmartMax offers a variety of what I would call building toys.  Some of the parts include different magnetic rods that your child can fit together to create whatever their imagination desires.  They also offer sets.  My 6 and 8 year old had fun building the Rob and Ringo Set and Tommy Train Set.  These are both pull back vehicle sets that SmartMax offers.  

My kids (and I) really like that these are simple toys to put together.  The parts simply snap onto the magnetic rods.  They love that the vehicles go because the wheels have a pull back mechanism in them.  The train is really fun and you can actually separate the pieces and play with each individual piece.  My kids also have fun playing with Rob and Ringo.  These are 2 cute pull back vehicles.  My kids put all of their SmartMax pullback vehicles on the floor and played with them all together.

I love jerky and so does my family.  What is your favorite kind of jerky?  I personally love spicy, but my kids really like terikyaki jerky.  I was recently introduced to a company that is local here in Vegas.  I love supporting local businesses.  I was very excited because they make jerky!  I want to introduce you to JoJo's Jerky.  They offer a wonderful assortment of flavors of jerky and more.

JoJo's jerky isn't just available to those in Las Vegas.  You can order your very own directly from their website.  I am very excited to find out that JoJo's will be opening a store right here in Vegas in the Container Park that will be located downtown.  This park is scheduled to open in mid October.  You will be able to visit the JoJo's store and pick up all of your jerky favorites too!

JoJo's actually began as Hans Homemade Jerky.  The jerky was made by Hans Hippert.  He would use the jerky for gifts for friends and family.  When it began he was not selling the jerky.  The name soon became JoJo's Jerky after his son's friend fell in love with the jerky.  His son's friend was named Johnathan.  He was always asking Hans for more jerky!  This sounds similar to my kids.  They love jerky.

JoJo's offers some traditional flavors like Teriyaki Beef Jerky or Original Pepper Turkey Jerky.  These are 2 flavors that my kids love.  I have tried both of them too and they are excellent.  They are full of flavor and seasonings.  My daughter loves the Teriyaki Beef Jerky from JoJo's Jerky.  I have to keep an eye on her, so that she won't eat the entire bag too!  I like that the Teriyaki has a great flavor, but isn't super sweet.  The Original Pepper Turkey Jerky is seasoned with a nice amount of pepper, but not overdone.

Now I want to introduce you to some of their more unique flavors.  I fell in love with all of these.  I am a huge fan of trying new things and I love spice and heat.  I first want to tell you about JoJo's Triple Threat Jerky.  This is available in chunk pieces or in a stick variety.  The Triple Threat Jerky is for those of use that love heat.  My husband and I love super spicy food.  He even said "wow that has a nice amount of heat."  This jerky is for those that love hot!  This is definitely that.  The jerky is not just hot though.  It has an excellent background flavor and is very tender.  

What are some of the other tasty jerky flavors that JoJo's offers?  They have Carne Asada Beef Jerky, Caribbean Jerk Beef Jerky, Carloca Spicy Carne Asada Beef Jerky, Sweet Heat Spicy Thai Chili Beef Jerky and more.  What flavor would you want to try?  I really enjoyed all of them.  I thought the Sweet Heat Spicy Thai Chili Beef Jerky was one of the most interesting flavors I sampled.  I loved it.  It combines the delicious Thai flavors with spice.  I like that it had a zip to it, but it wasn't overly hot.  

JoJo's Jerky has not stopped at just jerky though.  They also offer dry rubs.  I bbq at least a 2 times a week here in the Summer in Vegas.  It is just too hot to heat up my kitchen and turn the oven or stove on.  I am always looking for ways to add flavor to my food.  The rubs that JoJo's offers are great for chicken, beef, pork, fish and veggies.  I even like to use the ranch rub on my baked potato to add flavor!  I plan on making myself some baby back ribs soon with the Triple Threat Dry Rub.  This is an intensely flavored and spicy rub.  What would you try it on?

Sodastream Genesis Review

I want to introduce you to a neat machine.  Have you hear of Sodastream?  I honestly love these machines.  A Sodastream is a machine that allows you to make soda right at home.  Sodastream is eliminates extra waste from buying soda in cans or bottles.  It also is practical because you use water right from the tap.  Making soda right at home ends up being very cost effective.  I also like that you can have soda just when you want it.  You don't have to run to the store and get it when you run out.  The Sodastream is convenient.

 

 

I received a Sodastream Genesis to review.  I love this machine.  It is easy to set up.  You simply screw in the carbonator.  That is what gives the soda it's fizz.  The next step is to fill your soda with tap water.  You hook this up and screw it into the Sodastream.  You press the button on the top of the machine.  You wait to hear 3 buzzes and you have sparkling water.  The Sodastream Genesis makes making soda at home super easy.  I love that it has a nice sleek design.  It comes with 2 bottles.  This is great because you can then make more than 1 type of soda if you have multiple family members too.

The next step is to choose your flavor soda.  Sodastream mixes have less sugar than your typical soda does.  Many of them are a combination of sugar and splenda.  This lowers the amount of sugar and calories in the soda.  I don't feel as bad about my kids having a glass every now and then either.  Their favorite flavor is the Rootbeer.  Sodastream makes mixes that are diet.  My favorite is the Diet Pink Grapefruit.  My husband's favorite mixes are the Naturally Sweetened ones.  These contain cane sugar.  They have no preservatives and no artificial flavors either.  They really have a good taste.  Sodastream offers a variety of soda mixes for all different tastes.  Some of the flavors that they offer include. . . .
