Build-A-Bear Disney Palace Pets and Superhero Bears Review

My kids are huge fans of Build-A-Bear.  I have to admit, I am too.  They offer so many fun stuffed animals and so many options when it comes to dressing them up.  This is always so much fun for my kids.  Build-A-Bear is always featuring great new items.  The products they come out with just amaze me.  I was recently given an opportunity to review some of their new products.  My kids fell in love with the items we received.

Palace Pets

Is your little girl in love with Disney princesses?  My 7 year old is.  I want to introduce you to some of Build-A-Bears new Disney themed stuffed animals.  Their Disney Palace Pets are perfect for children that love princesses.  These come in two great choices.  Treasure is an adorable red kitty.  This is Ariel's kitty.  We received Pumpkin.  This is Cinderella's beautiful puppy.  Pumpkin was given to Cinderella as a gift from the prince.  She is really stunning.  My 7 year old fell in love with her.  She has a fancy dress, silver shoes, a crown, necklace, and bow.  My little girl loves that her tail is sparkly too!  My daughter enjoys cuddling with her, or playing pretend.

Superhero Bears

This is the perfect Build-A Bear for a boy that is totally into superheros!  My 9 year old was truly impressed and loves his.  These are available in Spiderman, Superman, and Captain America.  I love that the bear itself has the superhero insignia printed on the bear.  My son received the Captain America Build-A-Bear and the insignia is patterned on his fur.  I love it.   They offer a great selection of costumes for these fun bears too.  They Spiderman, Captain America, red boots, and they even offer a Thor costume that can be put on their other bears.  What Superhero Bear would your child want?

Caribbean Trading Co. Review

I love to try new foods.  I was really excited when I was given the opportunity to choose a product from the Caribbean Trading Co. for a review.  I browsed the selection of items that they have to offer.  I was really intrigued by so many of the items.  They offer a huge variety of unique products.  They offer salsas, seasonings, hot sauces.  bath and body products, candles, and much more!  What would you want to try?

My eyes lit up when I saw the wonderful selection of hot sauces that the Caribbean Trading Co. offers.  I am a huge hot sauce fan.  I love to try hot sauces from all over.  This was what I chose!  I received a Caribbean Hot Sauces Gift Pack.  This is great if you are a hot sauce lover or if you know someone that is.  It's a very nice gift too.  The gift pack comes with 4 hot sauces.  You can choose whether you want the tropical fruit collection or the box of fire.  I had to go with the box of fire!

The box of fire hot sauces come in a really nice package.  They even send you a certificate along with it.  The certificate is for trying some super duper hot - hot sauce.  I had to start with the really hot variety.  It was hot, but I was so impressed with the flavor it had too.  It is some of the best HOT hot sauce that I have ever had.  This intensely hot flavored hot sauce is called their Off the Plank Naga Jolokia Ghost Crushed Pepper sauce.  I keep telling everyone I know about it.  I can't stop raving.  This beautiful gift box also comes with 3 other sauces.  These are excellent too.  The other sauces include. . . .

What kind of skincare and cosmetics do you use?  Do you often wonder what actually goes into them?  I definitely do!  100% Pure Cosmetics is a company that you don't have to worry about that.  Their products are made with ingredients that I can trust and feel good about using on my body.  They offer fruit dyed makeup, skincare, bath and body products, and even products for your kids!

I love bath and body products.  100% Pure Cosmetics offers a great selection of items to help you pamper your body, but also do it naturally.  They also offer a nice variety of scents that have natural fragrance and don't have that fake kind of smell.  I received two items from their white peach line.  This is a wonderful fresh and clean scent.  It is perfect with the Spring season coming up.  I received a white peach nourishing body cream.  It does a really great job moisturizing and leaving your skin feeling super soft.  It contains cocoa and avocado butter.  The white peach hydrating body wash smells so good.  This is a gentle wash.  It leaves your skin feeling clean, but not dried out.

100% Pure Cosmetics also offers a variety of different soaps.  These come in so many great scents.  They offer fragrances like organic olive oil soaps, meyer lemon butter soap, mango butter soap, and many more.   I chose their mandarin butter soap.  This is also a really nice scent for the Spring season.  It truly smells like fresh mandarin.  The soap is nourishing and leaves skin soft.

Del Sol Color Changing Clothing Review

I have been a big fan of Del Sol product for some time now.  They offer a selection of color changing clothing, nail polish, jewelry, and more.  Their products change color and brighten in the sun!  These are fun products for kids, but adults too.  I recently found out that Del Sol is offering some specialty collections in their clothing line.  What does this mean?  They are offering Disney themed Del Sol shirts and Marvel themed shirts too.  I personally could not wait to check these out.

The fun does not stop with Disney products from Del Sol.  They offer a great selection of Marvel themed clothing for children, men, and women.  My son received one of these and so did I.  I love it!  The shirts are really fun.  They of course, change color in the sun as well.  The shirt graphic appears white indoors, but then outdoors brightens with color.  I received the Captain Shield T-shirt in white.  My son received a similar style in black.  He loves it.  He can't wait to wear it to school and show everyone how it works.  Del Sol also offers t-shirts featuring Thor, The Men of Marvel, and much more.

Figs and Rouge Hand Cream

I was so excited about all of the different flavors of lip balm that Figs and Rouge offers.  They also offer a variety of fun fragrances in their hand creams.  They offer cherry blossom, coco rose, french vanilla, and mocha orange.  The hand cream comes in a tube and the packaging is really fun!  The cream nourishes dry skin and leaves it feeling really soft.  I love that it softens, but doesn't leave your hands feeling super oily.

Under the Sea Shells Game Review and Giveaway 3/20 CLOSED

I love all of the fun educational games that Learning Resources have to offer.  We use a number of them for game nights at our house.  I really like that their games teach an educational concept, but my kids enjoy playing them at the same time.  What kind of educational games to you play with your kids?  

I want to introduce you to the Under the Sea Shells game from Learning Resources.  This is a game geared towards children 6 years of age and up.  It is perfect for first grade and above.  I have a first grader and thrid grader and I thought that the level was great for them.  The game incorporates math word problems with fun sea creatures.  This helps your child on their math skills, but also reading.  I think many people fear word problems, but this makes doing word problems fun!  It is a hands on way to teach word problems too.  The game works by picking a card.  The cards have math word problems on them.  You use the sea creature themed counters to help your child visualize the problem.  The problems include both addition and subtraction problems.

What did my kids think?  They loved it.  My first grader needed a little help from myself or my third grader on the reading portion.  However, this is a great way to strengthen her reading skills.  The math portion is fun.  They both enjoyed using the crabs and starfish to count out the answer.  Do you have a child that would enjoy playing this game?  You can learn more about it or order by visiting the Learning Resources website.  The game retails for $29.99.  This would also be a great game to have in the classroom.
