Roku LT Review

So what exactly is a Roku LT?  It is a great little device that allows you to stream movies and shows right from your TV.  We have previously been streaming from our game systems and once I got a Roku I realized that we've been missing out!  There are so many benefits to having a Roku.  With a Roku you can stream from Netflix, Amazon, hulu and so many more.  The options you have are amazing.

When I received the Roku LT and took it out of the box I honestly expected something more the size of a cable box.  I pulled out the Roku LT and it is more the size of my palm.  This is great because you don't have to have giant equipment all over your house.  I love that it is nice and compact.  You simply connect it to your TV and then wireless network.  It's very simple to set up.  You do need to have a high speed internet connection for the Ruku to work.  I find the Roku to be really easy to use.  I like that it uses a little remote to control everything.  The remote was simple to figure out how to use also.  If you already have a subscription to Netflix you can use the same subscription.  You do need to set up your Roku account.  I did this online and it took just a few minutes.  It was pretty simple.  The Roku LT retails for under $50.  I personally think this is very reasonable.  In the long run I think that Roku is doing a great job saving people money.  My kid's love that they have so many options of what they can watch.  My husband and I love it because we don't have to settle with what is on cable.  We don't watch much sports, but you can even stream sports shows.  I also like that you can even access music with your Roku.  You have the option to stream from Pandora.  I really love the Roku because it's a great way to provide your family with entertainment for a reasonable price.  We don't go out much to the movies, so I find that the Roku is a way for us to enjoy family time together.  It's much more reasonable too!

You can also connect with ROKU on Facebook and Twitter.
