I was really intrigued when I found out about the Zoku Duo Quick Pop Maker. I was amazed when I heard it can make pops on your counter in the matter of 7 to 10 minutes. This little unit can make about 6 pops before you have to refreeze it.
I took my Zoku Duo Quick Pop Maker out of the box. I washed everything and first froze the unit for about 24 hours. You need to do this before you make your pops. We decided to make frozen hot chocolate and marshmallow pops. The first step to making this is to put the sticks in. Then you pour in your liquid. I used cooled hot chocolate and mini marshmallows. Then you let the Zoku Quick Pop Maker sit on your counter for 7 to 10 minutes. It is really simple to remove the pops too when they are done. You simply twist the super tool onto the end of the pop. The pop will release as you are twisting and you gently pull. That's it and your pops are done! I have not seen anything that can make pops this quick! Usually it is hours before you can eat them with other ice pop makers. I am impatient and so are my kids. This is great for us!
The Zoku Duo Quick Pop Maker makes 2 pops at a time. Zoku offers other Quick Pop makers as well as this one. They make a single quick pop maker and the original quick pop maker. The original quick pop maker makes 3 pops at a time. It really just depends on your needs and how many people in your family. You can purchase the Zoku Duo Quick Pop Maker online for $36.95 on their website. They also have the other models available for purchase there too.
Zoku also offers a really neat book with lots of fun recipes too. Some of the recipes in the book include - Pink Mojito, Cookies and Cream, Cookie Dough, Mint Chip and more. You can come up with your own ideas too. There are so many options! You can even make striped pops or you can prop the Zoku up while freezing and make diagonal shapes too. The Zoku Duo Quick Pop Maker is very easy to use and lots of fun. This is going to be getting a lot of use in our house this Spring and Summer! What flavor pops would you want to make with the Zoku?
