I tend to easily forget to eat breakfast in the morning and I really know I should. I don't know about you, but if I have something like cereal in the house that is easy to eat I am much more likely to eat a good breakfast. I received a sample box of Post Honey Bunches of Oats to try. I will be honest and I haven't had it in awhile. I had a bowl this morning for breakfast and it was really good. It was quick, filling and I love that it's healthy. This is a healthy option for the whole family.
So why do I like Honey Bunches of Oats? It tastes good. I personally love healthy food, but it has to taste good too. I'm not big on cereal that tastes like cardboard and Honey Bunches of Oats does not. It has a good flavor and I really like the texture. It's not just one type of flake. It's got a variety of different flavors and textures in it and I think that really makes it great! My 5 year old is so difficult in the morning. She never wants to eat breakfast and she ate a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats this morning. I was thrilled because we are trying to get her in the habit of eating breakfast because she will be starting Kindergarten in the Fall.
Why is it good for you?
- It's low in sugar!
- It contains whole grains - 10 grams.
- Honey Bunches of Oats has no saturated fat, no cholesterol and no trans fats!
I tried the Honey Roasted variety of Honey Bunches of Oats, but they also have some new flavors available that I am looking forward to trying too. They make new Fruit Blends varieties too. The Blueberry Banana flavor sounds like it would be really good. Vanilla Bunches sounds like it would be really good too. The Vanilla Bunches isn't one of the brand new flavors, but I am really interested in trying it. What flavor would you want to try? Don't forget to connect with Honey Bunches of Oats on Facebook!
