I previously reviewed some of the amazing hot sauces from Ashley Food Co. and fell in love with them. If you didn't get a chance to read my other review you can find it here. Ashley Food Co. makes a variety of natural hot sauces. Every one that I've tried so far has been really good too! They not only offer hot sauce, but also offer wing sauce and bbq sauce too. Ashley Food Co. has been in the hot sauce since 1991. I would consider them to be hot sauce experts.

I received two of Ashley Food Co.'s BBQ sauces to try out! Their BBQ sauces have actually been given amazing ratings according to Cooks Illustrated magazine. The BBQ sauce comes in Mad Dog Ghost Ultra Hot, Mad Dog Chipotle, Mad Dog Original, Hard Times Honey Mustard and Mountain Man Chipotle. What variety would you want to try? I was lucky enough to try the Original and the Mad Dog Chipotle. My husband doesn't even eat bbq sauce and he liked the Mad Dog Chipotle! Both varieties were really good. The Mad Dog Original is very flavorful and has the perfect amount of spice to it. It has a little heat. It is great bbq sauce that isn't too sweet. I personally love that it has some savory elements to it along with some sweetness. I loved the Mad Dog Chipotle BBQ Sauce. I put this one on my burger and it was really good. It's got a good amount of heat, but it's not killer. It's not just hot. It has a really good flavor. Both of the sauces are great sauces that I will use frequently. I also received three different bottles of hot sauce to try from Ashley Food Co. They were all excellent and something I will be using. I have used them on steak, eggs, fries and keep trying them on a variety of foods. I love the Mad Cat Hot Sauce! It is a medium heat hot sauce. It still has a good zip to it, but it's got a really great flavor. It is a habanero pepper sauce and it also combines flavors like cilanto and lime in it. My husband really likes this sauce. I also received an excellent sauce called Boomslang. This ghost pepper sauce was my favorite. It has a really good amount of heat, but it's got a ton of flavor too. I didn't find it too hot to handle and it was great on eggs. This is said to be one of the hottest and most lethal sauces though. So be careful. Lastly, the 357 Mad Dog Hot Sauce is an intensely hot Hot Suace. It is one of the hottest sauces that I have ever tried. My husband and I liked it. It packs a huge amount of heat, but once again has great flavor too. This sauce has 357,000 Scoville units of heat. If you aren't familiar with this measurement it is how they measure how hot peppers are. This intense and delicious sauce received first place in 2001 from FDM Magazine's Salsa, Chutney and Hot Sauce Competition. I told you that the sauce was intense, but I want you to also be sure that you know that this sauce has a disclaimer because it's so hot. However, if you are a spicy food addict this might just be for you!
