I am always looking for toys for my children that really challenge them. I like toys that make their brains think! The Perlexus Original does just that! It takes patience and determination to master any Perplexus! Your child will also have to use logic to figure out how to master the maze. The goal is to get the marble through the maze by maneuvering the entire Perplexus! Your child will have to really think about which way to move and tilt the Perplexus in order for the ball to move through the track properly. So what exactly is a Perplexus? It is a multi dimensional maze game that is inside a ball. It sounds pretty neat doesn't it? The idea behind the Perplexus toys were actually created by a school teacher.
My 5 and 7 year old were very excited to give the Perplexus Original a try. The first few times I had to help them get the little marble onto the starting line. However, they are now able to do this on their own and it's been less than a day since we've had it. The Perplexus Original is geared towards children ages 6 and up. The Perplexus Original has 3 levels you can play on. My 7 year old was so interested in the Perplexus that he beat it on level 1 yesterday. It was truly amazing to watch him sit and figure out exactly how to do it. He is now determined to beat it on levels 2 and 3. The Perplexus Original has 3 different tracks that you can place the marble on. It adds to the challenge because it's like having 3 different games! My son really doesn't want to put the Perplexus down until he masters levels 2 and 3 too. My 5 year old is starting to get the hang of it too in just less than a day. She has mastered the 1st level as well and continues to play it. Ok, now I'm going to be honest. The Perplexus is not just for children! It's definitely a fun mind bending game for them, but adults love it too. My husband and I are enjoying it as well. The Perplexus Original is great for the whole family. You can play multi-player and challenge others.
