UV Skinz Review and Giveaway 7/30 CLOSED

Skin protection is very important to me.  I myself am very fair and I have family that had melanoma years ago, but luckily survived.  I am very thankful for that and truly do anything I can to protect myself and my family from the harsh rays of the sun.  I am usually slathering my children and myself in sunblock when we are outdoors.  I live in the dessert, so it is so hot and the sun is intense in the summer and year round.  I learned about UV Skinz recently and was really interested.  They offer a great line of sun protective clothing.  This is a great alternative to having to slather your entire body with sunblock.  UV Skinz protect the skin with clothing that has a UPF in it.  How does that exactly work compared to just using sunblock?  It's actually a great way to protect larger areas of your body.  The clothing works very well.  It has a UPF of 50+.  These are not just great for outdoor water activities, but when you are anywhere where you will be exposed to sun!  This neat sun protection material from UV Skinz actually blocks 98% of the rays from the sun!

My 7 year old received a really fun skin protection outfit from UV Skinz.  He is at that age where everything he wears needs to be cool.  I decided on the 3 piece Blue Ocean Camo set.  It's not only a great product to help your child protect their skin from the sun, but it's cute.  My son loves the print and he is very comfortable in it.  This set and the others come in a variety of sizes.  My 7 year old is on the tall and slender side, so I opted to go with the size 8 instead of 6.  It fit him perfectly because of how the pants are adjustable too!  We tested the 3 piece skin protection set from UV skins out today at our little splash park.  He loved that I didn't have to slather his entire both with sunblock.  I do want to say please make sure you still apply sunbock to your child's exposed skin - legs, arms and face.  It was so much easier having to only apply sunscreen to just a few little areas of his body.

So what exactly comes in the 3 piece sets from UV skins?  You receive a hat, UV Skinz Swim Shirt and a pair of matching board shorts.  These come in varieties for both boys and girls styles.  They are all really cute, but most importantly they do a wonderful job protecting your little one from the harmful rays of the sun.  They even offer a great selection of sun protection clothing for adults.  I personally try to do everything I can to shield my skin from the sun.  These product are a great way to assist in that.

You can purchase your own UV Skinz products directly from their website.  You can also connect with UV Skinz on Facebook, Twitter and their blog to learn more.  You can also use the code BLOGS15 on your orders and you will save 15%.
