DecalGirl DSi Skin Review

My kids both received DSi's this year over the holidays and I have been looking for a way to protect the outside of them.  Kids can be rough with electronics, so decal skins are a great way to provide your devices with an extra layer of protection.   Vinyl decal skins are great for things too like cell phones, laptops, iPads, Kindles and much more.  They not only protect the outside of the device, but it helps add a ton of personality to the item.

I received both the matte and gloss DSi skins to try out.  I like the look and feel of both.  I think it is honestly just a personal preference. The instructions that came with the skins were really excellent.  I had both my son's and daughter's skin put on within about 10 minutes total.  It was very easy.  The best thing to do is to make sure that you are familiar with each piece that you are putting on.  The next step is to make sure you wipe the device clean.  I then removed one piece at a time and placed it where it belonged on the DSi.  Once it was in place I firmly pressed it onto it.  My kids are so excited that their DSi's now have some fun art on the outside of them!  My daughter's pink DSi is now adorable with the Daisy Field -Pink Skin and my son thinks his is the coolest with the Blue Neon Flame Skin on his blue DSi They really look neat, but they also provide them with some protection.  

DecalGirl has been around since 2003 and makes amazing quality skins.  I am impressed on how durable they are.  The vinyl skins are removable and do not damage the device.  They offer skins for over 500 different devices too.  I love products that are made here in the US and DecalGirl products are made here!  DecalGirl was the first US company to market skins.  They offer a huge selection of art to choose from.  I really enjoyed browsing all of the great choices.  If you can't find something you want then you can even get a custom made skin.
