Backyard Safari Outfitters Review

Disclosure - free sample provided.

Do your kids love to play outside in the Spring and Summer?  Mine would spend all day outside if they could.  They love to run around and explore, dig in the dirt, and play with bugs.  I think that is an important and fun part about being a kid.  I want to introduce you to Backyard Safari Outfitters.  This is a company that offers a nice selection of outdoor toy products for kids.  Their products make exploring outdoors fun and help your kids have even more fun outside!

Backyard Safari also feels that it is important to teach your children to be safe while they are outdoors.  I completely agree with this.  I am always telling my kids not to touch anything unless they know exactly what it is or they ask an adult.  I know my son loves to touch bugs, but we have had to explain to him not to pick up just any bug he sees.  He understands that it's ok to touch ladybugs, but not bees, spiders, and wasps.  Backyard Safari has a whole list on their website of helpful safety tips that you can share with your child.  I have explained to both my 6 and 8 year old that the #1 thing is that safety is important!

I received a wonderful selection of Backyard Safari toys.  My kids are having a blast with these.  They are like little explorers when they use these.  My son loves the Lazer Light Bug Vacuum.  I think that this is so much fun!  This is a vacuum that  your child can use to suck up bugs.  My kids sucked up a bunch of those rolly polly type bugs, so that they could observe them.  They then put them in the Critter Shack with some food, so they could give them a larger place to roam.  The Critter shack is a container to keep frogs, lizards, fish, bugs and more.  What would your child put in this?  When one of my kids is wandering with the Lazer Light Bug Vacuum - the other uses the Mini Scoop Net.  This is a great net and my kids caught a grasshopper in it.  They were super excited.  The Field Binocuars are a great set of children's binoculars.  They do work too.  They are a good way for your child to explore farther away items.  They are comfortable for them to wear and hang right from their neck.

My kids have been bugging me for walkie talkies now for some time.  They received a fun set of Walkie Talkies from Backyard Safari.  These are very good quality ones too.  They work great indoors or outdoors.  I love listening to my kids plan and organize what they are doing using these.  The Walkie Talkies have a built in antenna and they wok for about a half mile range.

These are just some of the great items that Backyard Safari Outfitters offers.  You can visit their website to see all of the outdoor products that they offer for kids.  You can also connect with them on Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter too.
