Kusina Filipino Cuisine Review

Disclosure - free sample provided.

I am fairly new to Filipino cuisine, but I have always wanted to try it.  I love trying new kinds of food.  I really think it's fun and you can learn so much about a culture that way.  Have you had Filipino food before?  If so, what is your favorite Filipino dish to eat?  I was really intrigued and couldn't wait to try out Filipino food when I found out it has Spanish, Chinese, Thai, Indian, Malay, and Japanese influence.  That sounds like an amazing combination to me!

I want to introduce you to Kusina.  They offer frozen Filipino cuisine.  Their products are all natural.  They are gluten free too!  I love that the meals are very simple.  You just warm them up and it's ready.  Some of the varieties that Kusina offers can be microwaved and are great for a quick, healthy, and delicious meal.  They also offer varieties that just need to be popped into the oven and then are ready.

What kind of products does Kusina offer?  They have Chicken Empanadas, Vegetable Lumpia, Chicken Sisig, Chicken Lumpia, Chicken Adobo, Pork Adobo, and Vegetable Pancit.  This may be confusing to you if you are new to Filipino food.  The Chicken Empanadas are delicious chicken filled pies.  These are little handheld pies that are perfect for a small meal or appetizer.  The Lumpia were very good too.  These are similar to an egg roll if you have not had them.  The Adobo is very good too.  This is either chicken or pork that is in a vinegar, soy and garlic marinade.  It is served with rice.  The Pancit is a rice noodle and vegetable dish.  I loved this one.  Lastly, the Chicken Sisig is a spicier dish.  We loved this one.  It is a tangy and spicy chicken dish that is served over rice.  Which one would you want to try?

Pork Adobo

Vegetable Pancit

Chicken Empenadas

We truly enjoyed sampling all of the tasty and convenient food from Kusina.  You can learn more about their products by visiting their website.  You can also connect with Kusina on Facebook and Twitter.
