Barefoot Wines New Releases

Disclosure -free sample provided.

I love when I find wines that are great wines, but very reasonably priced.  Did you know that they are the most awarded winery?  They have received tons of awards for their wines.  Very impressive.  Their wines are also unique because they exhibit a lot of flavors from fruits.  This makes pairing them with a variety of different foods easy.  I received a selection of Barefoot wines to try.  These all retail for around $7 a bottle.  Barefoot wines are great to serve to guests, enjoy with a wonderful meal, or bring to a hostess at a party.  Although they are reasonably priced, they are in no way lacking in flavor.

Barefoot Sauvignon Blanc
This is a really light and crisp dry white wine.  This is one of my favorite varieties of white wine.  It is said to be a very versatile wine.  It can be paired with so many different foods too.  Barefoot's Sauvignon Blanc is said to have an almost citrus like flavor.  This makes it very refreshing.  They suggest pairing it with things like salad or even fish.  I love salad with grilled chicken on it.  It is excellent paired with that too!  What would you pair Barefoot's Sauvignon Blanc with?

Barefoot Pinot Noir
If you haven't tried a Pinot Noir, then you are missing out.  It is a great red wine to drink if you don't like strong flavors.  The Barefoot Pinot Noir is a dry red wine.  It is flavorful and bold, but it's not as intense of a red wine flavor as some can be.  This wine is said to have a fruitiness to is as well.  It is also very smooth.  I typically pair a red wine with red meat or pasta sauces, but this one is also great with chicken or fish that has been grilled.

Barefoot Zinfandel
This is an excellent Zinfandel and a great price too!  The Barefoot Zin is a red wine that is on the dry side.  However, this is a very smooth and flavorful wine.  It is dark fruity wine that picks up a berry flavor.  It is also said to be a little peppery.  They suggest pairing this with steaks, burgers, pizza and more.  I personally love it with a great fruit and cheese plate.
