Turning Leaf Wines Review

Disclosure - free sample provided.

I have heard quite a bit about Turning Leaf wines.  I had honestly never tried them.  I was really excited to try some of these out when I received samples.  I found the price on these Turning Leaf wines very appealing.  They offer quality wines at reasonable prices.  The varieties I tried all retail for about $8.  They are great wines for entertaining too!  They have received a number of awards for their wines.  Their Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir really impressed me.  Have you tried any of these?

Turning Leaf Chardonnay
This is a dry and crisp white wine.  It pairs well with poultry or pork dishes.  It's also great with fruit and cheese.  This is an easy to drink white wine.  It is said to have flavors of citrus and peach.  This is an easy drinking wine.  This wine is made with 100% Chardonnay grapes that come from California.

Turning Leaf Merlot
I am a huge fan of a good Merlot.  This is a very good Merlot and I love that it's only about $8.  It is smooth and full of flavor.  This Merlot is great with red sauces or red meats.  It is said to have flavors from dark cherry and plum.  It is also a bit spicy.  This wine is made with 100% Merlot grapes that also come from California.  Have you tried the Turning Leaf Merlot?  What do you pair it with?

Turning Leaf Pinot Noir
This is also an excellent wine for a very great price.  I am also a big fan of a good Pinot Noir.  This one impressed me for the $8 price tag.  This is a dry red that is smooth.  I love that it's not super intensely flavor.  It is full of flavor, but not overpowering.  The wine is said to have flavors of boysenberry and pomegranate.  They suggest pairing it with things like pizza or even roasted mushrooms.  What would you pair this one with?

Turning Leaf Cabernet Sauvignon
This is a very full flavored red wine.  It's very dry.  It's smooth and perfect with a variety of foods.  It is said to have flavors of blackberry jam.  Have you tried it?  It has a bit of spiciness to it as well.  This is the perfect wine to pair with red meats and grilled foods.  I love a good Cab like this will bbq'd steak.  This wine is made with 100% Cabernet grapes from California.
