Melissa's Produce - Fall Produce Review

Disclosure - free sample provided.

I am a huge fan of Melissa's Produce.  They offer beautiful and delicious produce every season.  Do you have a favorite kind of produce that you love in the Fall?  Melissa's produce offers great Fall produce that truly impresses.  My kids love fresh fruits and veggies, so they were super excited to try everything.

Fall Vegetables
I received some wonderful onions and potatoes from Melissa's.  They offer so many different kinds.  I love to incorporate onions into my dishes.  They are great for cooking, but if you get a really good onion they are great raw.  I was truly impressed with Melissa's sweet onions.  They are great on a burger or satueed.  I also love the shallots that Melissa's offers.  These are great for soups and stews.  They add a really nice mellow onion flavor to whatever you use them in.  Melissa's offers other onions too like boiling onions, pearl onions, and more.  I also really like Melissa's baby potatoes.  These are a nice side dish.  They come in a number of varieties too.  My favorite are the Ruby Gold Potatoes.  They are flavorful and really tasty on the grill.

Fall Fruits
I received a wonderful sampler of fresh Fall fruit from Melissa's Produce.  I received lady apples, kiwi berries, pomegranates, and quince.  We really enjoyed everything.  I was completely intrigued by the kiwi berries.  These look like a miniature kiwi fruit.  They taste like them too.  The kiwi berries are flavorful.  I really like that they don't have to be peeled either.  The skin is completely edible.  The pomegranates from Melissa's are tasty and delicious.  My kids were amused by the adorable little apples we received.  Lady apples are a small apple that is great for little hands.  They work great for cooking too, but taste great raw.

These are just some of the great items that Melissa's Produce offers.  You can visit their website to learn more about their quality produce.  You can also connect with them on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
