Zaycon Foods Chicken Review

I am really big on buying food in bulk.  It saves money, but it's also nice to have a nice stocked freezer and pantry.  It really saves in the amount of trips I make to the store.  This is always a bonus when I realize I don't have to pack the kids in the car to run and get something to cook for dinner.  I live in the Vegas area and for some time now, I have heard about these Zaycon Foods events.  I was recently given the opportunity to try out their chicken.  I was so excited.

Zaycon Foods is a place you can order bulk meat.  It is perfect if you have a deep freezer.  I package my food up in smaller portions.  This makes it easy to pull out for fast dinners during the week.  What kind of items does Zaycon offer?  They offer boneless skinless chicken breast, bacon, sausage, milk, strawberries and more.  I placed my order online for 40 lbs. of boneless skinless chicken breasts.  The process of picking up your food is easy too.  They offer a number of locations in my area that you can choose to pick up from.  The location I chose was a church parking lot that was about 5 minutes from me.  I just pulled up in my car and they checked my name.  They then put my 40 lbs. of chicken in my trunk and I was on my way.  I didn't even have to get out of my car.  The chicken is in a refrigerated truck, so you don't have to worry about it sitting around and spoiling.  

How was the chicken from Zaycon Foods?  It was wonderful.  The chicken comes in a box that has a bag inside that is sealed.  I went home and cut the double breasts and then wrapped each piece in plastic wrap.  I then was able to place about 4 to 5 pieces in a freezer bag.  This is going to make it super easy for me when I want to pull chicken out for dinner.  The chicken pieces were really nice too.  There was barely any fat on them too.  We tried the chicken on the grill that night.  It was delicious and juicy.

I only used 2 chicken breasts to create this meal for 4.  I cut the breasts into smaller pieces and then grilled them.  I even  had some leftovers because the chicken breasts were so large!

I personally found that the price of the chicken was very competitive too compared to what I pay in the grocery store.  The chicken I received was super fresh.  It is never frozen and it is completely natural.  There is nothing added to it and I truly think that makes it taste much better.
