Tesoro Tomatoes Review - The Food Lover's Tomato

Disclosure - free sample provided.

We love tomatoes in our house.  There are so many ways to enjoy them.  We eat them sliced with salt and pepper, use them in salsa, sauces and so much more.  What is your favorite way to enjoy a good tomato?  We also like them on sandwiches and burgers.  The problem with that is that they can make your sandwich soggy and wet.  There is a tomato that won't do this though.  Tesoro Tomatoes are a hybrid tomato that has a less watery center.  They are meatier and perfect for sandwiches or anything you want to use them for.  These are award winning tomatoes.  They are a non GMO hybrid tomato and the only variety of it's kind available in the US.  They are a combination of a Roma tomato and an Italian tomato paste variety.  The result is a delicious tomato that can be used in so many recipes.

Tesoro Tomatoes are flavorful.  They are low in acid and have a rich tomato flavor.  They can be used in cooking too.  They are perfect for sauces.  They work great as a substitute for canned tomatoes too.  They are nice for salsa because you won't end up with watery salsa.  I love that I can roast or grill these and they hold up to the heat.  They don't fall apart and get watery.  How would you use Tesoro Tomatoes?

You can learn more about Tesoro Tomatoes by visiting their website.  They have so many great recipes that you can use to incorporate these delicious tomatoes into your meal plan.  You can find these tomatoes at Albertsons, Food 4 Less, Safeway, Vons, Whole Foods, Gelson's, Raley's and many more grocery stores.  You can also find Tesoro Tomatoes on Twitter too!
