Target Busy Family Event - Simple Breakfasts on Busy Days

Disclosure - free sample provided.

I am so busy on school days when my kids are trying to get ready to get out the door.  I am always looking for easy ways to provide them with a nutritious breakfast that doesn't take forever to prepare.  They get bored of eating the same thing for breakfast, so we try and incorporate new ideas.  Target can help you put a new spin on breakfast. There are so many great ways to take simple breakfast foods and make them fun!  How do you make breakfast fun and different for your family?

I received the following products as inspiration for some great breakfasts. . . .

• 1 pouch Nature Valley® Protein Granola
• 1 box Nature Valley® Granola Bars
• 1 box Honey Nut Cheerios® Medley Crunch™ cereal
• 1 box Trix® cereal
• 1 package Quaker® Oats
• 1 jar Jif® peanut butter
• 1 package Nutella® mini cups
• 1 pouch Grandma Hoerner’s® Big Slice™ apples snack

My kids loved all of these products on their own.  My son was so excited about the Trix Cereal.  This was his favorite.  This is perfect for a quick meal in the morning.  You can even combine this cereal with other items to make a breakfast type snack mix that is easy to take with you.  The Nature Valley Granola Bars are one of my favorites.  I love the texture of these.  They are easy to grab when you are busy or even on the go.  These can even be topped with things like peanut butter and bananas.  What would you do with these items to create a new breakfast idea for your family?  There are so many great options!

You can learn more about all of the great products that I received by visiting your local Target.  They even offer savings on these items too.

  4. I'm always looking for "on the go" foods for myself and my children. We don't get up early enough to have a proper meal so most of the time I skip breakfast which I know is a big no-no. I think the Nutella mini cups and apples snacks sound really good!
